What is the meaning of bladder ca

Bladder CA means bladder cancer. We know that bladder cancer is a relatively common malignant tumor of the urinary system. The global incidence rate is also quite high. This poses a great threat to men's health. There are many causes of bladder cancer, such as work reasons, long-term exposure to carcinogenic substances, long-term smoking and drinking, and poor diet, which are all important causes of bladder cancer.

Causes of Bladder Cancer

1. Workers who are exposed to carcinogens for a long time, such as those working in dye, leather, rubber, and painting, may have a high incidence of bladder tumors. People who are exposed to carcinogens for a long time have a 20% increased risk of developing the disease. The effects of these carcinogens are often latent and take a long time to manifest, sometimes even 30 to 50 years. Of course, this risk also depends on the duration, amount and type of carcinogen. Some high-risk occupations include: dye workers, printers, shoemakers and truck drivers. Dangerous chemicals mainly come from aromatic amines contained in dyes, paints, inks and artificial leather. 2. Smoking is also a factor that increases the incidence of bladder tumors. Recent studies have shown that smokers have higher levels of the carcinogenic substance tryptophan in their urine. Metabolism increases by 50%, and when smoking stops, tryptophan levels return to normal. 40% of bladder cancer in men and 31% in women may be caused by smoking. Hoover et al. reported that as the number of smokers in successive birth cohorts increases, the incidence of bladder cancer is also increasing, and certain occupational pollution is associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer. Dye, rubber, leather, printing, paint, petroleum and other organic chemical industries are particularly dangerous. Their common feature is the presence of aromatic amines, that is, smoking and occupational pollution together have an additive effect on the occurrence of bladder cancer.

3. The incidence of bladder cancer increases with age in people over 40 years old. Most bladder cancer patients are over 60 years old. Therefore, some scholars suggest that people over 40 years old should be alert to the occurrence of bladder cancer, especially when they find hematuria, they should go to the hospital for treatment in time. 4. Gender: The incidence rate in males is 4 times that in females. 5. Race: In the United States, the incidence of bladder cancer in Caucasians is twice that of African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans. Among them, Alaska Natives have the lowest incidence rate. 6. Abnormal tryptophan metabolism in the body Abnormal tryptophan metabolism can produce some metabolites, such as 3-hydroxy-2-aminoacetophenone and 3-hydroxy-o-aminobenzoic acid, which can directly affect the synthesis of RNA and DNA in cells. These metabolites are excreted into the bladder through the action of the liver and become carcinogenic after being acted upon by β-glucuronidase.

7. High-fat diet can easily cause bladder cancer. People who eat nitrate-containing foods and high-fat diets for a long time have a higher incidence of bladder cancer. 8. People whose ancestors have suffered from bladder cancer have a higher incidence rate than other people. 9. Chronic infection such as long-term chronic urinary tract infection. Long-term local irritation of the bladder mucosa and long-term chronic local irritation of the bladder wall, such as long-term chronic infection, long-term irritation of bladder stones and urinary tract obstruction, may be factors that induce cancer. Cystitis glandularis and leukoplakia of the mucosa are considered to be precancerous lesions that can induce cancer. 10. Drugs such as phenacetin, taken in large quantities, have been proven to cause bladder cancer.
