Why do you clench your fists when you sleep?

Why do you clench your fists when you sleep?
Many people in life have different sleeping habits. Some people’s sleeping positions are very different from others, and different people also have many different manifestations. Just like some people habitually clench their fists when they sleep, this situation is related to many factors. Although it may not be the result of disease, it is also closely related to a person's physique. Why do we clench our fists when we sleep?

1. Physical reasons . Generally, such situations are considered to be related to physical constitution. For example, sudden stimulation such as loud noises is also possible. Just let nature take its course and continue to observe. It is okay as long as the appetite is normal.

2. Immature development of the cerebral cortex. Newborn babies always clench their fists because their cerebral cortex is still immature. The younger the age, the more obvious this condition is. Don't worry, it's a physiological phenomenon. It is recommended that the mother ignore it for now and observe. As the baby grows and develops, this phenomenon will gradually improve after 3 to 4 months, and generally disappear at 6 months.

3. Other babies curl up with their bodies and clench their fists due to limited space in the mother's womb. After birth, without the warmth of amniotic fluid and facing a strange world, the baby will lack a sense of security. It is normal for the baby to clench his fists, which will generally improve at three months. For adults, sleep or wakefulness is a normal physiological process, but it is not an activity that can be completely controlled by humans, but a passive process. It is not like some activities of the human body that can be controlled by human will and can start and stop at will. People with insomnia often find it difficult to induce sleep on their own. In fact, early-stage mild insomnia can often be cured through self-regulation.
