Tips to relieve eye soreness

In today's society, the gradual emergence and replacement of various electronic products have made people overwhelmed. 1. Blink

Blink 300 times a day. A normal person between the ages of 20 and 40 blinks about 20 times per minute. When staring at a rapidly changing computer screen with eyes open, the number of blinks will drop to 4 to 5 times per minute, causing a serious lack of tear secretion and symptoms of dry and sore eyes. Therefore, intentional blinking is very effective in protecting your eyes. Generally speaking, it is appropriate to blink 300 times a day. It not only helps to promote tear secretion and relieve symptoms of dryness and soreness, but also cleans the eyes and gives them a small massage, thereby relieving eye fatigue.

2. Hot compress method

In addition, frequently fumigating your eyes with hot water, hot towels or steam can promote blood circulation in the eyes and reduce eye fatigue.

3. Massage

Eyeball pressure method. Close your eyes and gently press your eyeballs with the tips of your index, middle, and ring fingers, or you can rotate and rub them gently. Do not continue for too long or press too hard, stop after about 20 seconds.

Forehead pressure method. Use three fingers on each hand to rub from the center of the forehead toward the left and right temples, then press hard on the temples, using your fingertips to apply force. This will give you a comfortable feeling under your eyes. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

Press between the eyebrows. Place the tip of your thumb on the depression below the base of your eyebrows and press or rotate gently. Repeat 3 times. Look into the distance, move your eyeballs to the right, up, left and down, and do not shake your head.

4. Eat more foods that nourish your eyes

Modern medical research shows that vitamins are closely related to the occurrence of eye diseases. People who use their eyes too much need more vitamins and minerals necessary for the eyes. Properly supplementing the nutrients needed for the eyes is very important for protecting the eyes. Therefore, ophthalmologists recommend that people with eye fatigue should pay attention to the balance of diet and nutrition, and eat more coarse grains, whole grains, red and green vegetables, potatoes, beans, fruits and other foods containing vitamins, protein and fiber. Eyes that are too dry and lack of mucus can easily cause eye fatigue. There is a great correlation between vitamin A or B-carotene and the supply of mucus. In addition, supplementation of vitamin B6, vitamin C and zinc can also help solve the problem of dry eyes.
