Shaking head and having headache

Headaches caused by shaking your head are often caused by neuralgia. Usually the treatment of neuralgic headaches needs to be gradual. First of all, patients with neuralgic headaches need to maintain a good mood and mental state, and not always put themselves in an overly stressful environment. Secondly, they can choose Chinese medicine for treatment. Finally, massage, acupuncture and other methods can be used in combination with treatment.

What medicines can treat neuralgic headaches?

Vasoconstrictors: Ergotamine is a powerful vasoconstrictor useful for the prevention of migraine aura. Such as ergotamine caffeine, used before a headache occurs. It is a commonly used drug for the treatment of neuralgia.

Magnesium preparations: Magnesium ions can reduce the excitability of the central nervous system, block sympathetic ganglia, relax vascular smooth muscles, and dilate blood vessels.

Calcium-orange antagonists: The main mechanism of action of this type of drug is to block the slow calcium ion channel, inhibit the release of serotonin and thromboxane A2 by platelets, and persistently inhibit vasoconstrictive substances to dilate blood vessels, thereby improving the vasodilation and contraction function of blood vessels to treat neuralgia. These drugs include nitroglycerin, pindolol, nemopine, cefotaxime and flunarizine hydrochloride.

Analgesics: The purpose of using this type of medicine is mainly to relieve or eliminate the pain of headache. Because the drug can combine with opioid receptors in the brain, it stimulates the anti-pain system in the brain, increases the pain threshold, and thus exhibits analgesic effects. Commonly used drugs include aspirin, chlorpromazine, chlorpromazine, carbamazepine and chlorpromazine.

Anti-anxiety and sedatives: These drugs can reduce the mental tension and anxiety of patients with neuralgia and inhibit the excitability of the central nervous system. Such as sildenafil, fenalidone, doxepin and chlordiazepoxide.

Other drugs: including tadalafil, tofu-2 (Kunming Shenshuai fruit tablets), compound danshen tablets, indomethacin, etc., which can also achieve certain effects in the treatment of neuralgia.

The editor reminds you: Lifestyle adjustment is very important for neuralgic headaches. Adjusting a precise biological clock for yourself is an important condition for ensuring adequate sleep. When a headache occurs, it is recommended to put down the work at hand, take a short break, listen to music, read a book or do some quiet activities, but avoid any strenuous activities. Keeping a happy mood is also a good way to improve symptoms!
