Anti-o high rheumatoid factor normal

Anti-o high rheumatoid factor normal

Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by many factors, the most common of which is rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid patients usually feel extra pain in the body on cloudy and rainy days. They must keep warm when the weather is cold. Bone lesions occur, which is what we call joint inflammation. This disease can only be relieved but not cured, which is very troublesome. There is no need to worry if anti-O is normal, as there is no necessary connection between the two.

Rheumatoid factor is actually a type of autoantibody that targets denatured immunoglobulin antigens. Rheumatoid factor can be continuously synthesized under the infection of Epstein-Barr virus or the action of denatured immunoglobulin, which may lead to rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid factor is often able to bind to specific immunoglobulins and can be measured in many ways. The most commonly used method for determining rheumatoid factor is the latex agglutination test.

Steps/Methods:

1 The latex agglutination test is mainly suitable for the determination of immunoglobulin M, which is actually the determination of IgM rheumatoid factor. Of course, rheumatoid factor can also be measured by the ELISA method. This method can measure various types of immunoglobulins, so it can detect multiple rheumatoid factors.

2 The rheumatoid factor level in a normal person's serum is less than 1:20. The rheumatoid factor titer is determined by a latex agglutination test. If the rheumatoid factor is measured by ELISA, the rheumatoid factor titer corresponding to immunoglobulin G of a normal person will be less than 186U/ml, the rheumatoid factor titer corresponding to immunoglobulin A will be less than 261U/ml, and the rheumatoid factor titer corresponding to immunoglobulin M will be less than 226U/ml.

3 In fact, the so-called normal value of rheumatoid factor is a critical value. A range below this critical value is normal. If it is greater than this critical value, it means that the rheumatoid factor content is high. Typically, rheumatoid factor titer is used to check for rheumatoid arthritis or other rheumatoid diseases.

Note:

High rheumatoid factor may be caused by many diseases, the most common of which is rheumatoid arthritis. It may also be pregnancy complicated with scleroderma or rheumatic heart disease in the elderly, or it may be type I immunoblastic lymphadenopathy.
