Causes of lumbar pain in women

Causes of lumbar pain in women

Whether it is a natural birth or a caesarean section, many mothers will experience different physical traumas, so many women often experience lumbar pain after giving birth. This is a normal phenomenon, so you should pay attention to avoid standing or walking for long periods of time, do not bend over or squat for long periods of time, try to do some simpler housework or pay attention to rest.

So how can we prevent this kind of lower back pain?

1. Avoid standing and walking for long periods of time after delivery

Postpartum mothers should avoid standing or walking for long periods of time, as this will increase the burden on the waist muscles and spine, inducing or aggravating the occurrence of low back pain.

2. Avoid bending and squatting for a long time after delivery

By the same token, bending over and squatting for long periods of time will increase the tension load on the lumbar ligament muscles, which may cause strain and cause soreness and discomfort.

3. Don’t hold your baby or do heavy housework after giving birth

Family members need to be considerate of the mothers' physical conditions and not let them hold the baby too much or do more heavy housework. These will not be conducive to the mothers' physical recovery and may easily induce back pain.

4. Pay attention to protecting your waist during daily activities such as breastfeeding

Whether breastfeeding or sleeping, mothers should maintain a correct and comfortable posture to avoid spraining the waist. Proper waist movements every day can prevent injuries.

There is no love without reason, and no hate without reason. The key to postpartum back pain is prevention. As long as you do the above, you can prevent the occurrence of back pain to the greatest extent.
