When practicing abduction, use the force of the healthy arm to push the affected arm outward with the help of the fitness bar, and maintain the posture at the outermost point you can reach. When practicing adduction, use the force of the healthy arm to pull the affected arm inward with the help of the fitness bar, and maintain the posture at the innermost point you can reach. Be careful to keep your elbows straight at all times. When practicing, do 1-2 sets a day, 10 times each set, and hold the abduction and adduction positions for 5 seconds each time.
