The so-called viral urticaria is actually a major cause of urticaria caused by infection, that is to say, urticaria caused by viral infection. There are many viruses that cause urticaria, the most common one is viral upper respiratory tract infection, various influenza viruses, common infection viruses, common enteroviruses, hepatitis viruses, infectious mononucleosis viruses and various enterovirus infections. The treatment of urticaria caused by these viral infections is mainly aimed at the primary disease, and symptomatic treatment is given at the same time. Antipruritic agents can also be used, and oral medications such as Lulutadine syrup or Lulutadine tablets can be used. If it is serious, oral glucocorticoids can be used. Foods with animal proteins such as fish, shrimp, crab, eggs, milk, and meat are the most common, especially after eating a large amount of protein diet and drinking alcohol at one time, peptone urticaria occurs, and secondly some plants can also cause allergies.

Drugs such as penicillin, furazolidone, serum, vaccines, etc. can be caused by allergic reactions. Other drugs such as atropine and aspirin are histamine releasers that can directly stimulate mast cells to release histamine and cause urticaria.

Inhaled substances include pollen, animal dander, feathers, dust, certain gases and fungal spores.

Infections include bacterial, fungal, viral, protozoan, parasitic and other infections, which may cause type I or type III hypersensitivity reactions through the antigenic action of the infectious agent or by changing the body's stress state.

Insect bites such as lice and fleas bite the skin and the stingers of wasps, bees and caterpillars penetrate the skin and cause allergic reactions.
