What is the disease of shaking hands and head?

Hand and head shaking is a disease that one cannot control and some conditions may occur in the hands, heels and feet. This disease is relatively special and the manifestation of this disease is also relatively special. However, many people do not know its specific symptoms, and most people may not know about this disease or have never learned about it. So what is hand and head shaking?

Hand tremors are divided into physiological hand tremors and pathological hand tremors. Physiological hand tremors have a small amplitude and a fast speed, and mostly occur when stationary. They are small, fast, and irregular tremors. Physiological hand tremors often occur when one is nervous, fearful, etc. Hand tremors occur when you are emotionally excited, in severe pain, or extremely tired. Once the above causes of hand tremors are eliminated, the hand tremors will disappear. Pathological hand tremor, medically known as "tremor", refers to the involuntary shaking of the hands, which is often permanent.

There are two main types of hand tremors: static hand tremors and dynamic hand tremors. Among them, static hand tremor is the hand tremor that occurs when the muscles are completely relaxed, that is, in a quiet state. This type of hand tremor disappears during sleep, with a frequency of 4-6 times per second and a relatively regular pattern. It is a typical disease such as Parkinson's syndrome. Sports tremor is a tremor that only occurs during exercise, and the tremor becomes more severe when the movement approaches the target. For example, when a doctor performs the finger-to-nose test on a patient, he asks the patient to straighten his forearm and then point his index finger at the tip of his nose. The closer the tip of the index finger is to the tip of the nose, the more obvious the hand tremor will be. Motor tremors are irregular, with large amplitudes, and are aggravated by emotions. They are common in lesions of the cranial nerves and upper limb nerves. Common diseases that cause pathological hand tremors clinically include upper limb nerve diseases and injuries, brain tissue diseases, and drug-induced hand tremors. Hand tremors are common among the elderly.

The constant shaking of both hands has seriously affected eating and writing, which makes the elderly very distressed. Medically, this shaking is called tremor. Although tremor manifests as shaking of the hands, the root cause is mostly in the anterior cruciate lateral lobes. Due to certain diseases, the area of the anterior cruciate lateral lobes responsible for motor coordination is damaged, causing tremor. Clinically, Parkinson's disease, cerebral arteriosclerosis, midbrain or cerebellar lesions, hepatic encephalopathy, drug poisoning, dementia, etc. may all cause hand tremors in the elderly. Medical research has found that eating broad beans and coffee can effectively control tremors. Family members can appropriately feed the elderly more of these two foods.

If pathological factors are excluded, another common cause of hand tremors is psychological factors. Your problem is a bit like anticipatory anxiety. This type of question often creates a situation that the patient feels frightened about. For example, you may be very worried that your hands will shake when other people are around you at work, and then when someone comes in front of you, your hands actually shake. In anticipatory anxiety disorder, anxiety about symptoms that cause a psychological response can exacerbate or lead to the onset of symptoms. The onset of symptoms further intensifies anticipatory anxiety, thus forming a vicious cycle. You are trapped in this vicious cycle and cannot extricate yourself.
