White discharge from wound

White secretions from the wound are likely to indicate infection of the wound, but it may also be the process of scar tissue formation.

2. Scar tissue: If a wound does not heal for a long time after being injured and is infected by bacteria or viruses, scar tissue is easily formed. White secretions may appear during the gradual formation process. Wipe the local skin with iodine tincture to achieve anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effects. After the local skin heals, you can apply scar removal ointment topically, such as vitamin ointment or compound heparin sodium allantoin gel. Applying it for a period of time can reduce the chance of scarring and protect the local skin tissue. The local area needs to be kept clean and dry.
