Stomach pain and loose stools

If you have stomach pain and unformed stools, you should be alert to gastrointestinal dysfunction or indigestion. You should go to the hospital for a routine stool examination to see if there is inflammation. You should also prevent some causes of chronic enteritis. For such a condition, in addition to good medication treatment, you should also pay attention to your diet and quit smoking and drinking.

Stomach pain and loose stools

Loose stools are one of the typical symptoms of enteritis. Loose stools may also be related to drugs, emotional stress, food intolerance, abnormal colon motility, small intestinal dysfunction and esophageal enteritis. Enteritis is gastroenteritis, small enteritis and colitis caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Clinical manifestations include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, loose watery stools, or stools with mucus, pus and blood. Some patients may have fever and a feeling of tenesmus, so it is also called infectious diarrhea. Enteritis is divided into two categories: acute and chronic according to the length of the disease.

When diarrhoea caused by enteritis is diagnosed, there may be an acute onset, frequent nausea and vomiting, severe abdominal pain, frequent diarrhea, mostly watery stools, which may contain undigested food, a small amount of mucus, and even blood. Severe vomiting and diarrhea may lead to dehydration, acidosis, and even shock. To treat enteritis, Chinese medicine emphasizes syndrome differentiation and treatment. Take the "Xiao Ling Qingchang Prescription" three times a day. Avoid spicy and greasy food and alcohol during the medication period. At the same time, pay attention to diet, eat light and easily digestible food, have a regular work and rest schedule, avoid mental anxiety, etc. From the above article, we learned that loose and unformed stools are caused by children eating a lot of foods that are not easy to digest. As a result, the baby's stomach and intestines are damaged and this phenomenon gradually occurs. Therefore, parents and friends do not need to worry too much.

TCM summarizes the causes of abnormal bowel movements

1. Loose stool like gruel, dark yellow and sticky, mostly due to damp-heat in the intestines; 2. Loose stool like water, with undigested food, mostly due to cold and dampness, usually seen in patients with diarrhea; 3. Sticky and frozen stool with pus and blood, is dysentery. White stool means the disease is in the qi, red stool means the disease is in the blood, and a mixture of red and white stools mostly means both qi and blood are diseased. 4. If the stool is rice water-like in color, large in volume, frequent in frequency, and accompanied by vomiting, the possibility of cholera or paracholera should be considered. 5. Bleeding in the stool is a manifestation of gastrointestinal bleeding. If blood appears in the stool first and then in the stool, and the color is dark brown, it is distant blood, which can be seen in gastric and duodenal ulcers, liver cirrhosis, esophageal and gastric varicose vein rupture bleeding, gastric cancer and other diseases; if blood appears in the stool first and then in the stool, and the color is bright red, it is near blood, which is common in hemorrhoids, anal fissure, rectal cancer and other diseases. Grayish-white stools are often caused by stones or tumors compressing the stool, resulting in a lack of stercobilin in the stool. Be alert to the possibility of gallstones and pancreatic cancer.
