What to do with hard bumps on feet

What to do with hard bumps on feet

When people are shopping and find a pair of nice shoes, they will buy them. But after returning home or putting on the newly bought shoes while shopping, you will find that the shoes are very rubbing against your feet. If shoes rub your feet for a long time, hard bumps will appear on your feet. In fact, this is the callus caused by grinding. What should I do if I get hard bumps on my feet? The best way, of course, is to stop your shoes from rubbing your feet.

Tips to solve the problem of new shoes rubbing your feet

Solutions to foot pain

If the edges of the shoes are rubbing your feet, you can cover them with a wet towel for a few minutes to let the shoes gradually become damp and soft, then use a cylindrical object such as a round bottle to press them hard several times.

If the back edge is rubbing your foot, you can fully dry the wet paper towel, then soak it with white wine, spread it on the edge of the shoe, fix it with a clip, and leave it overnight.

If your new leather shoes pinch your feet, you can cover them with a wet towel and then use shoe wedges to prop them up. If you don't have shoe wedges, you can also find a few newspapers, soak a piece of newspaper and crumple it into a ball, squeeze out some of the water, then wrap it with a dry newspaper and stuff it into the shoes. After leaving it overnight, the shoes will be much more comfortable to wear.

Cover the part of the shoe that rubs your feet with a wet towel for a few minutes, then wrap the part where your feet are squeezed with a dry soft towel, and hit it a few times with a hammer to make the part of the shoe that rubs your feet smooth. Once the leather of the shoe becomes soft and smooth, it will no longer rub your feet.

Before putting on your shoes, take a piece of soap (or a candle you usually use) and apply a thin layer of soap on the part that comes into contact with your heels the most. This will make the heels smooth and will no longer rub your feet.

How to choose the right shoes for you

The ideal heel height is between 2-4 cm, preferably no more than 6 cm

Every 1 gram increase in shoe weight causes a burden on the foot equivalent to adding dozens of grams of weight to the human back. Therefore, try to choose light shoes. The curvature of the heel and the concave part of the sole must fit the foot, and the ankle bone and toes should not touch the shoes. The front foot should have some room to swing, but the heel should not swing.

It should fit you perfectly from the day you buy it. Don't think that it won't rub your feet if you wear it for two more days. During the running-in process, your feet will feel uncomfortable and may even become deformed and ugly.
