Acute pharyngitis symptoms

1. Pain The pain of pharyngitis will occur in the acute phase of inflammation of the throat, during which time the throat will be painful. 2. Coughing: We should pay attention when we cough. If it doesn’t go away for a while or it recurs repeatedly, it may be pharyngitis and we should seek medical attention in time. In the later stages of acute throat inflammation, most of the time it occurs after influenza. Because of the prolonged inflammation, there will be a local itchy feeling, leaving behind coughing symptoms. If effective treatment is not continued at this time, the cough will persist. 3. Foreign body sensation: Due to the long-term existence of inflammation, the throat tissue proliferates, especially the lymph nodes at the root of the tongue are swollen, which is clinically called lingual tonsillitis. The swollen lingual tonsils can stimulate the epiglottis and produce a foreign body sensation. 4. Dry throat is a long-term chronic inflammation. In the case of abuse of antibiotics, the related symptoms of inflammation are often extremely atypical, and only manifest as dry throat. In addition, nasal congestion can cause the patient to breathe through the mouth when lying flat. Over time, it often manifests as dry throat in the morning.
