How to eat Sakura shrimp

Shrimp is one of our favorite seafoods. It is rich in protein and vitamins. There are many types of shrimps, including river shrimps, mantis shrimps, cherry shrimps and so on. There are many ways to eat shrimp, such as spicy crayfish, fried loofah with cherry shrimp, and cherry shrimp and coriander baked eggs. Sakura shrimp are mainly produced in Taiwan, so fresh sakura shrimp are rarely available in northern China. Here’s how to cook sakura shrimp.

Sakura shrimp are distributed in Taiwan, China, and some other Southeast Asian countries. Because of its small size and lack of aggressive and destructive chelicerae, it has a mixed diet. Therefore, if kept in a grass tank, it will not harm other creatures. It can also remove food residues and perform meticulous cleaning of algae attached to aquatic plants. Sakura shrimp are brightly colored and slightly transparent, and their eggs can be seen directly inside their bodies. Their cephalothorax, abdomen, and third pair of legs have red and white stripes and are covered with spines, while their antennae and other legs are white. The male shrimp is transparent with a bluish hue, while the female shrimp is bright red all over. The bright red color of the female shrimp depends on the water conditions, food, individual size and individual differences. Especially the female shrimp carrying eggs, which are dark red all over. The maximum body length is 3cm.

Method 1: Stir-fried loofah with sakura shrimp. 1. Prepare the necessary materials first. Peel the loofah and divide it into 4 small pieces of equal length. Then cut it into appropriate sizes. Chop the ginger into fine pieces and set aside. 2. Add 2 tablespoons of oil into the pot, heat it on low heat, then add the sakura shrimps. As soon as you smell the aroma, take them out and set aside. 3. Use the original shrimp oil to fry the minced ginger until fragrant. 4. Then add the processed loofah, cover the pot and simmer for 5 minutes. 5. Finally, add seasoning and put in some of the sakura shrimp prepared in step 2 and stir-fry again until cooked. 6. When done, place on a plate and sprinkle with the remaining sakura shrimp. Stir-fried sakura shrimp with loofah is ready to be served.

Method 2: Seafood Sakura Shrimp and Coriander Baked Eggs 1. Prepare the ingredients: Sakura Shrimp, eggs, milk, and coriander. 2. Turn the air release valve of the pot lid to the [Waterless Cooking] function, select [Crispy Shrimp] in [Waterless Cooking] from the function list and cook for 8 minutes, then press the [Cook] button. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and stir-fry the cherry shrimp until fragrant. 4. Mix egg liquid + milk + 1 tablespoon of oil + bonito powder + white pepper powder and set aside. 5. Pour in the chopped coriander and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in the egg liquid and use bamboo chopsticks to stir clockwise until it is slightly solidified, then cover the pot. Wait for the beep sound and then pour the baked egg into the plate easily. 6. The front is a soft and tender baked egg. The back is a slightly golden baked egg. 7. After proper arrangement, sprinkle with black pepper and serve.
