If you feel full and bloated soon after eating a small amount, it means your heart is weak and the stomach is not supplied with enough Qi and blood for digestion. At this time, nourishing the heart means strengthening the spleen, and Baizi Yangxin Pills are the best for this task. This medicine nourishes the heart and the liver, calms the mind and promotes bowel movements. It is most appropriate for people who are always restless, short of breath, weak, and have difficulty defecating.

Eating more small dates on an empty stomach every day can not only replenish blood and strengthen the spleen, but also invigorate qi and promote bowel movements. Large dates are strong in replenishing blood, while small dates are strong in activating blood circulation. Small dates are better in summer. Some people say that after drinking yam, coix seed and water chestnut porridge, they feel bloated and think that they are too weak to be nourished.
