Lower back pain when urinating

Lower back pain when urinating

If you experience lower back pain when urinating, you should pay attention and go to the hospital for a routine urine test in time. When this happens, the most common cause is urinary tract infection, especially for women. Women's physiological structure makes them more vulnerable to bacteria. Because women's urethra is relatively short, they are prone to urinary tract infection. In addition to regular treatment, you should drink more water and avoid eating spicy and irritating foods.

During spring and summer, the number of patients with urinary tract infections increases significantly, especially among women. The incidence rate increases by more than 50% compared to winter, and it is more common in women aged 20 to 50. If urinary tract infection is not treated properly, it can easily become chronic, and in severe cases it can cause serious consequences such as renal failure and uremia.

1. Diet adjustment

① Patients should eat a light diet and eat less irritating foods, such as chili peppers, ginger, onions, garlic, etc., and do not drink alcohol.

② During the remission period, you should eat more nourishing and kidney-tonifying foods, such as lean meat, fish, shrimp, fungus, etc., to strengthen your physical fitness and improve your body's immunity.

③ During the attack period, eat mainly light, easily digestible and nutritious food, drink more light tea or boiled water, and eat some foods that invigorate qi, detoxify and promote diuresis, such as mung bean soup, winter melon soup, pears, etc.

④ Eat less spinach, because spinach contains more oxalic acid. Oxalic acid and calcium combine to form insoluble calcium oxalate, which can easily form urinary stones in patients with chronic urinary tract infections.

⑤ Drink more water. Urinary tract infection is caused by bacterial growth. You need to urinate more to flush the urethra and expel bacteria and inflammation.

2. Drug treatment

① Do not take medicine blindly when you are sick. Store some common medicines at home, such as Sanjin Tablets, Isatis Root, etc.

② Patients must use antibiotics with caution under the guidance of a doctor. Most patients with urinary tract infection who only have symptoms but no fever or elevated blood counts do not need to use antibiotics.

③ Generally, the symptoms of urinary tract infection can be alleviated after taking medicine for two days, but the disease is not completely cured. Treatment should be continued for one to two weeks. The medication can be stopped only when the routine urine test is completely normal for two to three consecutive times.

④ Sanjin tablets, which are made from authentic Chinese medicinal materials such as golden cherry root, diamond thorn, and golden sand vine, have the advantages of combining nourishment and treatment, and can quickly improve urinary tract irritation symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. To reduce the recurrence of urinary tract infections, patients are advised to follow the doctor's instructions or drug instructions to consolidate the course of treatment after the symptoms are eliminated.

⑤ Go to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine for treatment, and the doctor will prescribe oral decoctions based on the symptoms, which will have a better effect.
