What are the symptoms before menopause?

When women reach around 50 years old, they will gradually stop menstruating. Before menopause, they will show various symptoms. First of all, the menstrual symptoms are more obvious, such as prolonged menstrual period and reduced menstrual blood volume. In addition, psychological and emotional symptoms will also be more prominent. They are also prone to insomnia, depression and other symptoms. At this time, you must pay attention to conditioning, as the body's immunity is relatively poor during this period.

What are the symptoms before menopause?

1. Infrequent menstruation: The interval between menstrual cycles is long, from the normal 20 to 30 days to once every 2 to 3 months or even longer. The menstrual flow may be normal or less than before, and the interval between menstruation gradually increases to 4 to 5 months or half a year, and then stops completely. 2. Menstrual cycle disorder: the normal menstrual cycle changes to irregular vaginal bleeding, sometimes the menstrual period is prolonged or becomes continuous vaginal bleeding, which lasts for 1 to 2 years. Heavy vaginal bleeding may also occur, and the patient may develop anemia, sallow complexion, general fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath. In severe cases, hemoglobin may be significantly reduced. 3. Sudden menopause: A small number of women have had normal menstrual cycles and periods in the past, but now suddenly go through menopause. Others have normal cycles, with only a few periods where the amount of menstruation gradually decreases, and then the menstruation suddenly stops. According to the observation of 282 women with natural menopause, 40 of them had sudden menopause, accounting for 14.1%. Therefore, the majority are the first two manifestations. Menopause is a normal physiological phenomenon for older women, which means that the reproductive function of their ovaries has ceased. After menopause, women will age faster and faster, so they should take good care of themselves, eat more foods that have health-promoting and nourishing effects, and take good care of their bodies. Only then will the aging of women's skin and organs be slowed down.

Causes of amenorrhea

Amenorrhea is a necessary process for women, and it is also a huge turning point for women, which means that women will no longer be able to get pregnant. Doctors point out that if menopause occurs at a normal age, it is generally harmless. However, if a woman experiences amenorrhea before reaching menopause, it should be a cause for concern. So, what are the causes of female amenorrhea? 1. Ovarian hypoplasia. Due to ovarian hypoplasia, lack of response to pituitary gonadotropin, and failure to produce sex hormones, amenorrhea occurs. 2. Polycystic ovary syndrome. Amenorrhea caused by polycystic ovary syndrome is secondary amenorrhea. 3. Premature ovarian failure. Due to the congenital lack of ovarian follicles, or due to some reason that causes the follicles to decline prematurely, resulting in low estrogen levels and endometrial atrophy, menopause occurs before the age of 40.

4. Impaired ovarian function. Such as serious infection, tumor, etc. 5. Thyroid factors: Thyroid disease can also lead to menstrual disorders. Hyperthyroidism is often accompanied by infrequent menstruation and even secondary amenorrhea. In addition to the above five reasons, amenorrhea may also occur due to excessive mental tension, excessive stress, excessive fatigue during menstruation, and cold stimulation in women.
