Symptoms before menarche in girls

Symptoms before menarche in girls

For girls, the first menstruation is called menarche. When they have their first menstruation, some girls will feel nervous and think they are sick. At this time, parents must tell their children that this is a normal physiological phenomenon, which means that they have grown up. Girls will show some symptoms before menarche, such as breast development and abdominal pain.

Symptoms before menarche in girls

Menarche is the first menstruation of a girl. It is an important sign of the arrival of puberty. Menarche means that the endometrium has developed due to the stimulation of estrogen. It also means that the "pathway" from the uterus to the cervix and vagina has opened. Most girls have their first menstruation at the age of 12-14 years old, and very few have their first menstruation earlier than 10 years old or later than 19 years old.

1. Breast development:

Usually a girl's menarche occurs two years after her breasts begin to develop. Adolescent girls should pay attention to observation and learn more about physiological knowledge.

2. Sudden height growth:

When a girl reaches puberty, her height and weight should be measured every six months. If her height and weight increase suddenly, her menarche may occur during this six months.

3. Abdominal pain:

Girls may experience abdominal pain on the eve of menarche, which may only manifest as occasional unusual pain without any other discomfort. If this happens, you should pay attention to the onset of menarche in the near future.

4. Leucorrhea situation:

A transparent, colorless, odorless, slightly viscous liquid like egg white will flow out of the private parts. This is called leucorrhea. It is a normal physiological phenomenon. If you find that the color of the leucorrhea is red or brown, or there is a small amount of blood, you may have your first menstruation in 2-3 days.

I believe that after reading the above content, everyone has a certain understanding of the symptoms of girls in the three days before their menarche. Girls will also undergo certain physical changes after their menarche, which is normal. Therefore, girls should face their menstrual period normally after their menarche. I hope this article will be helpful to everyone.
