What should I do if I want to get pregnant due to irregular menstruation?

Modern women are under great pressure at work. Many women often work overtime for work. Staying up late and irregular eating habits are commonplace. Long-term irregular eating habits and bad living habits can easily lead to endocrine disorders in women. Endocrine disorders in women can easily cause irregular menstruation. Irregular menstruation can affect women's pregnancy. So what should women do if they want to get pregnant due to irregular menstruation?

What should I do if I want to get pregnant due to irregular menstruation?

1. Ovulation test strips to monitor ovulation

Use ovulation test strips to measure ovulation. If the test line is stronger than or the same as the standard line, it means ovulation is about to occur. However, the ovulation test strips on the market have different setting standards, and each person's situation is different, so using only one test strip may result in continuous positive results, or no positive results. Therefore, you can use multiple brands of test strips together to increase accuracy.

2. Measure basal body temperature

Measuring basal body temperature can help you accurately determine your ovulation period. Basal body temperature measurement refers to the oral body temperature measured after 6-8 hours of sleep, when you wake up and do not engage in any activities (such as talking, eating or getting up, etc.). The temperature records measured by date are connected into a curve, which is called the basal body temperature curve. The normal basal body temperature curve for ovulation is a biphasic curve with obvious high temperature and low temperature areas. Generally speaking, ovulation occurs on the day when your basal body temperature is lowest. Basal body temperature rises within 24-48 hours after ovulation.

3. B-ultrasound monitoring of ovulation

By monitoring ovulation through B-ultrasound, you can intuitively see the development of follicles and ovulation. For a 28-day cycle: The first B-ultrasound: around the 8th day of menstruation, to understand how many follicles are developing at the same time and the diameter of the larger follicles. Second B-ultrasound: Around the 10th day of menstruation, 1-2 dominant follicles can be seen and the growth rate of the follicles can be calculated. The third B-ultrasound: around the 13th day of menstruation, just before ovulation, a sound-transparent ring will appear around the follicle on the B-ultrasound. An experienced doctor will tell you that the follicle should ovulate within 24 hours. The 4th B-ultrasound: Around the 14th day after ovulation, the follicle has disappeared or significantly shrunk by more than 5mm, and a liquid dark area of 4-6mm or even more can be seen in the uterine rectal crypt.

4. Test the progesterone level one week after ovulation

In a normal female menstrual cycle, the progesterone level in the follicular phase before ovulation is low, less than 2 ng/ml. After ovulation, the corpus luteum of the ovary produces a large amount of progesterone, and the progesterone concentration in the blood rises rapidly. When the corpus luteum matures, which is about seven days after ovulation, the blood progesterone concentration reaches a peak, which can reach 15-32.2 ng/ml or higher, and then continues to decline, returning to the lowest level in the entire menstrual cycle before the menstrual period.
