Prostate calcification treatment

Prostate calcification treatment

I believe many male friends know that prostate disease is a very common disease. Prostate calcification is very likely to occur in some patients who have suffered from prostatitis. Because prostate calcification is mostly caused by some residual symptoms left by prostatitis, the treatment of this disease is relatively simple. As long as you follow the doctor's instructions, you can recover quickly.

Do not think that this disease will recover on its own, as this will only make the disease worse and cause more serious damage to the prostate. All male friends should know about protecting the prostate, as this will protect their own health.

Basic Overview

Prostate calcification and fibrosis are scars left after the prostate inflammation heals and are precursors to prostate stones. Prostate stones are often accompanied by chronic prostatitis, and these lesions can usually be seen through B-ultrasound examination. Due to the special structure of the prostate, there is generally no good treatment for calcification and stones. Bacteria can breed on prostate calcification (fibrosis) and stones, so this is another cause of recurrent prostatitis and cannot be ignored. Prostatic cysts mostly occur in adults, and are more likely to occur in diabetic patients. The clinical manifestations are urinary obstruction or defecation obstruction. Urinary obstruction often causes acute urinary retention. Sometimes thick secretions flow from the urethra, and rectal examination can feel the prostate gland fluctuating, but it usually appears in the late stage.

treat

Prostate calcification or stones must be treated. Calcification will develop into stones and cause various symptoms. Some patients cannot eliminate symptoms for a long time and need to undergo a comprehensive examination to see if there are calcified stones. It is difficult to completely cure prostate disease without treating calcified stones.

Glandular injection therapy

This treatment is a complementary approach to antibiotics in the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia and calcification. Since it is difficult for antibiotics to reach effective therapeutic concentrations within the prostate gland when treating prostate calcification, the treatment of directly injecting antibiotics into the prostate has emerged. Our outpatient clinic once recommended this treatment method extensively, but years of clinical practice have shown that this treatment method has insurmountable drawbacks.

Antibiotic treatment

This is the basic and commonly used method for treating prostate calcification. Antibiotic treatment of acute prostatitis is still advisable to control clinical symptoms. However, the therapeutic effect of treating chronic prostatitis is not satisfactory. First, the drug resistance of bacteria, pathogens and microorganisms is an insurmountable obstacle for antibiotics.

This article introduces the knowledge about the treatment methods of prostate calcification, hoping that people can pay more attention to this disease of prostate calcification. Don't think it's a small matter and don't need to pay much attention to it. If it is a disease, it must be treated in time. Failure to do so will only allow the disease to wreak havoc in our bodies. To treat prostate calcification, we also need to pay attention to some care work in life.
