What to do if your heart is not good and your legs are swollen

The heart is a very important organ in the human body. Its main function is to provide pressure for the flow of blood, so that it flows to various parts of the body and ensures the normal operation of human life activities. Since the heart is so important, what if someone has a bad heart? He may not be able to breathe smoothly, have a vague tingling pain in the chest, the pain may spread from the chest to the back, and the left arm may be sore and numb. It should be mentioned here that it may cause swollen legs. So what should we do if a bad heart causes swollen legs? Let’s take a closer look.

Causes of leg swelling due to poor heart function:

A bad heart can cause edema in the lower limbs, which is mainly common in middle-aged and elderly people. Due to heart failure, it gradually leads to right heart failure and total heart failure. At this time, the heart's pumping function decreases, and the blood in the veins is retained in the lower limbs and cannot flow to the upper parts, leading to edema in the lower limbs. It is usually not obvious in the morning but more obvious at night.

Diet therapy for swollen legs caused by bad heart:

1: Various bee products: including honey, bee pollen and royal jelly. Bee products contain high levels of glucose that is easily absorbed by the human body. It can nourish the myocardium and improve its metabolic function, as well as relax the cardiovascular system and improve coronary blood circulation. Finally, to prevent heart disease we should do the following: do not consume too much cholesterol; do not eat overly spicy foods; eat less or no sucrose; eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and get adequate vitamins; exercise more, such as jogging and yoga; and eat a low-fat and low-salt diet.

Note:

Pay attention to developing good eating habits, don’t eat too much or too little at one time; don’t eat oily and fatty foods, and consume enough vegetables and fruits; pay attention to rest and don’t stay up late.
