Blisters at the base of the penis

Blisters at the base of the penis

If men do not pay much attention to cleaning their penis, it will cause a few small red bumps to appear locally. You don't need to worry too much about these small red bumps. Applying a little bit of anti-inflammatory medicine can recover. However, when blisters appear at the base of the penis, you must be careful, as this may be genital herpes, which is a sexually transmitted disease that may be contagious.

Steps/Methods:

1. Small blisters occasionally grow on the male penis for no reason. Most men generally don't care about this problem. However, it is often due to the neglect of this issue that more and more blisters appear on the penis, and symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, and itching appear. If small blisters grow on the penis, you should be alert to whether you have a sexually transmitted disease, so you must go to the hospital for a comprehensive examination in time to rule out the cause to avoid delaying the disease.

2. Genital herpes is a type of sexually transmitted disease and is extremely contagious. The main symptoms are the appearance of more and more needle-sized blisters around the genitals and anus. If you squeeze them with your hands, a light yellow liquid will come out. However, it is best not to squeeze these blisters. A person with penile herpes can easily transmit the disease to the other person with whom he or she has sexual intercourse. The chance of infection is as high as over 80%. If diagnosed with genital herpes, the patient should be prepared for long-term treatment because the disease has a high recurrence rate. This disease is very harmful to men, so it must be treated in time.

3. If a man has small blisters on his penis, he may have balanitis. This is because some men have long foreskins and do not maintain adequate hygiene of their genitals. The smegma can induce balanitis. If balanitis is not treated in time, the patient's prostate, testicles, etc. may also become inflamed and spread to the reproductive system. This is also contagious and may be transmitted to the other party during sexual intercourse. This kind of harm to men is also huge.

Note:

Men must do a good job of hygiene and cleanliness during sexual intercourse, especially men with long foreskin. In winter, many men do not take a bath every day, but it is best to wash the genitals every day and change underwear frequently to do a good job of hygiene and cleanliness of the private parts to avoid illness.
