Psoriasis is a type of skin disease that is very painful. When an attack occurs, the skin will become unbearably itchy and will be accompanied by a large amount of psoriasis. There is no fixed location for psoriasis to occur. Generally, tinea pedis and tinea manuum are more common, and some people also have attacks on the inner thighs. It is important to note that this type of ringworm may spread and have raised areas around it that look like lace. There is no particularly good way to treat skin diseases, and you should pay attention to some taboos in your life. 1. What is inner thigh psoriasis Tinea cruris refers to a skin disease that occurs in the pubic and femoral areas of the human body. It is a skin disease caused by fungal infection. This type of tinea is mainly distributed in the inner thigh, groin, perineum and perianal area. The occurrence of this disease is also related to poor local hygiene and other skin tinea diseases. During the course of the disease, folliculitis may occur due to infection caused by scratching. Self-diagnosis points: The affected area feels itchy, and the itching becomes worse after scratching. Disc-shaped skin lesions can be seen, which initially appear as erythema spots, gradually expand and spread, and are ring-shaped or disc-shaped, with slight pigmentation and desquamation, raised around the edges, lace-like, and occasionally small blisters. Annular or semi-circular rashes may still appear in the center of the lesions and spread outward. The appearance may be corrugated. The skin lesions are generally limited to the aforementioned pubic and femoral areas. 2. Treatment recommendations: Commonly used western medicines include antifungal topical drugs such as Daktarin and Terbinafine solution. The affected area should be cleaned before use and talcum powder can be applied to the affected area after use. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease is related to the downward flow of damp-heat in the liver meridians and should be treated by clearing away heat and removing dampness. Longdan Xiegan Pills and other internal medicines can be used. 3. Notes: 1. Wash and change underwear frequently. Wash the pubic area every day to keep the area clean. It is beneficial to recovery. 2. Actively treat ringworm in other parts of the body, such as tinea manuum, tinea pedis, onychomycosis and tinea corporis, to achieve a radical cure and prevent recurrence. 3. Avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, quit smoking and drinking, eat a light diet, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. 4. Preventing Tinea Cruris (1) Maintain self-discipline and refrain from having improper sexual relations with others. Do not use other people's underwear, panties and toiletries. (2) Change underwear frequently, keep the vulva clean, and wash and dry clothes and quilts frequently. (3) Reduce sweating and promote evaporation at the base of the thigh. Try to keep the perineum dry and wear loose fitting underwear that is not too tight. (4) If you suffer from onychomycosis, tinea manuum, or tinea corporis, you should actively seek treatment to prevent the disease from being transmitted to the pubic area through your hands. External treatment of tinea cruris Because the skin of the pubic and thigh areas is relatively tender, care should be taken to avoid using high-concentration and highly irritating preparations. It is advisable to use milder tinea lotions or tinea ointments for external application, such as Pu tinea lotion, Baodao tinea lotion, compound Tujinpi tincture, etc. They should generally be diluted to a 1/2 concentration. You can also use 5% to 10% sulfur ointment, realgar ointment, etc. When it itches, be patient and don't scratch it with your hands. Apply ointment and it will be gone in a few days. It feels good at the time if you grab it, but it will actually get worse the more you grab it. 5. Is ringworm contagious? Some skin ringworms are contagious, while others are not. It mainly depends on the cause. Skin ringworms caused by fungi or parasitic mites can be transmitted from one person to another, usually through human touch. If it is due to physiological reasons, it will not be transmitted. Psoriasis will not be transmitted from one person to another. It is best for skin ringworm patients not to walk around during the illness. The air contains fungi, which may make the situation worse. Try to avoid contact with outsiders and use towels and other daily necessities used by others. Skin ringworms can be transmitted through these substances. Go to public places less often and keep the indoor environment dry. Fungi can easily grow in a humid environment and attach to the human skin, causing skin infection and thus skin ringworm. |
