The effect of chest lymphatic detoxification in traditional Chinese medicine

I believe that everyone often feels some discomfort in the chest, such as tingling and swelling in the chest. As long as it is a non-pathological tumor or cyst problem, it is generally a phenomenon of lymphatic detoxification. This can be relieved by massage or hot compress. There are many methods that are simple and effective.

Chest and armpit lymphatic drainage technique

1. Cleanse your face with cleansing milk.

2. Apply hot towel aromatherapy to face and chest.

3. Wrap your hands around your shoulders and neck, and massage the Fengchi acupoint.

4. Use the thumbs and index fingers of both hands to gently pull the clavicle, and repeat three times.

5. Place both palms flat on the clavicle, push one hand back and the other hand forward to the left armpit, push and rub alternately for a few seconds, overlap and pull with both hands for a few seconds, shake your hands, and repeat three times.

6. Same as above on the right side.

7. Push and slide the palms of both hands alternately on the left side of the neck several times. Support the chin with one hand and push along the neck to the armpit with the other hand. Lift and pull for a few seconds, shake your hands, and repeat three times.

8. Same as above for the right side of the neck.

9. Push and slide your hands alternately over the entire neck several times, push to the sternocleidomastoid muscle, stay for a few seconds, and then push to the armpits on both sides.

Massage the armpits for lymphatic detoxification

As we all know, armpits are where sweat is secreted. If we look at it from another angle, we will find that armpits are also an important health care area of the human body.

In fact, from the perspective of Western medicine, the armpits not only have arteries and veins, but also a large amount of lymphatic tissue, which are responsible for blood transportation and immune defense; from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, there is an important acupuncture point in the armpit - Jiquan, which can relieve heart pain, stomach pain, dry retching, and rib pain.

Not only that, insisting on massaging the armpits can also enhance lung capacity and improve the function of the respiratory system; enhance appetite and improve digestion ability; promote the smooth excretion of uric acid, urea, inorganic salts and excess water in the body's metabolites; enhance the return of lymph fluid in the chest, shoulders and back, and help prevent and treat diseases such as breast cancer and periarthritis of the shoulder.
