Is vaginal candidal infection hereditary?

Gynecological diseases are a series of diseases that have been very popular in recent years, posing a great threat to women's physical health. Therefore, when gynecological diseases occur, they must be treated in a timely manner, and the causes of the disease and treatments for related sequelae must be found. Among them, people are more concerned about whether candidal vaginitis is hereditary? Let’s take a look at the explanation below, I hope everyone can understand it.

Among gynecological diseases, candidal vaginitis is a very common one. Modern medicine believes that the main cause of the disease is infection with Candida albicans. Pregnant women, diabetics, patients receiving long-term high-volume estrogen therapy, patients using antibiotics inappropriately and excessively, and patients receiving radiotherapy are prone to this disease.

Generally speaking, as long as candidal vaginitis is treated in time, it will not be passed on to offspring, so female friends do not need to worry too much. As long as it is discovered early, treated early and the doctor's advice is followed, it can be cured.

The main clinical manifestations of candidal vaginitis are increased leucorrhea, which is white and thick, dregs-like or watery, itching and burning pain of the vulva. When the symptoms are severe, the patient may feel restless and suffer from abnormal pain, which may be accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, and pain during sexual intercourse. If the epidermis is scratched, it can easily cause superficial ulcers. During gynecological examination, milky white flaky pseudomembranes can be seen covering the mucosa on both sides of the labia minora and the vaginal wall. After wiping them off, congestion, edema, erosion, and bleeding of the mucosa can be seen. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease is mainly caused by damp heat.

Three clinical manifestations of candidal vaginitis:

1. Symptoms of spleen deficiency and damp-heat syndrome include clear and watery leucorrhea, large amount of white discharge, not much, odorless, itching and burning pain in the vulva, pale or sallow complexion, fatigue, poor appetite, sticky or bitter mouth, loose stools, pale and fat tongue, white or greasy tongue coating, and soft and slow or soft and rapid pulse. Gynecological examination shows that the mucosa on both sides of the labia minora and the vaginal wall are covered with milky white flaky pseudomembranes. After wiping, the mucosa can be seen to be congested and edematous.

2. Symptoms of liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome include excessive vaginal discharge, which is like bean dregs, thick and smelly, severe itching in the genitals, burning pain, fever and red face, irritability, bitter and dry mouth, or distension and pain in the chest and flanks, constipation, short and dark urine, red tongue with thin yellow or greasy coating, and rapid and stringy pulse. Gynecological examination may reveal multiple superficial ulcers on the vulva, or a white membrane covering the surface.

3. Symptoms of Yin deficiency and internal heat syndrome include excessive vaginal discharge with a thick texture like bean dregs, dryness and itching in the genitals, fever in the five parts of the body, or long-term low-grade fever, dry mouth and no desire to drink, tinnitus, back pain, red tongue with little coating, and a thin and rapid pulse. Gynecological examination may reveal superficial ulcers on the vulva, which may even bleed when scratched.
