Is pulmonary thrombosis hereditary?

Lung health is very prone to problems and has a great impact on people's lives. It can cause very serious painful symptoms to the body. There are many types of lung diseases, among which pulmonary thrombosis is the most serious, also known as pulmonary embolism. This disease is quite harmful and is one of the main causes of functional problems in patients. Is pulmonary thrombosis hereditary?

The root cause of pulmonary embolism is vascular damage and excessive blood waste, which leads to blockage of the pulmonary arteries and causes necrosis of lung tissue. Because it is related to vascular disease, there may be a genetic and family history.

1. Thrombolytic therapy

(1) Commonly used drugs There are two thrombolytic drugs commonly used in clinical practice in China: urokinase (UK) and recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator alteplase (rt-PA).

(2) Contraindications: ① Absolute contraindications: Hemorrhagic stroke; ischemic stroke within 6 months; central nervous system damage or tumor; major trauma, surgery or head injury within the past 3 weeks, etc. ②Relative contraindications: transient ischemic attack within 6 months; use of oral anticoagulants; pregnancy, or 1 week after delivery; recent cardiopulmonary resuscitation, etc.

(3) Thrombolytic therapy can achieve the greatest therapeutic effect if it is started within 48 hours of the onset of acute PE. However, thrombolytic therapy within 6 to 14 days is still effective for patients with symptomatic acute PE.

2. Surgical thrombectomy

3. Percutaneous catheter intervention

Interventional treatment can remove blood clots in the pulmonary artery and its main branches, promote recovery of right ventricular function, and improve symptoms and survival rate.

4. Venous filter

Routine implantation of an inferior vena cava filter in patients with PE is not recommended (III, A). In patients with absolute contraindications to anticoagulants and recurrent PE after receiving adequate anticoagulant therapy, venous filter implantation can be an option (Ⅱa, C).

5. Early discharge and family treatment

Patients with acute PE who are at low risk of adverse events can be discharged early and receive out-of-hospital treatment.
