What causes long-term migraine?

When most people experience headaches, it is caused by migraine. Migraine is different from general headaches because generally the headache occurs all over the head, while migraine occurs in a certain area of the head. The symptoms of migraine headaches are different for each person, and if a person has migraine headaches for a long time, what is the cause?

The cause of migraines is not yet known, but may be related to:

(1) Genetic factors. Since about 60% of patients can be asked about their family history, and some patients have epilepsy in their families, experts believe that the disease is related to genetics, but there is no consistent genetic form.

(2) Endocrine factors: Vascular migraine is more common in adolescent women. It occurs frequently during menstruation, stops during pregnancy, recurs after delivery, and gradually decreases or disappears after menopause.

(3) Dietary factors: People who often eat cheese, chocolate, spicy food, or smoke or drink are prone to vascular migraine.

(4) Other factors, such as emotional stress, mental trauma, worry, anxiety, hunger, insomnia, poor external environment and climate change can also trigger migraines.

What are the causes of left-brain migraine?

First of all, mental or psychological stress can cause left-sided migraine. In our daily work, we may encounter some annoying things and some problems that are difficult to solve. Moreover, the pace of life of modern people is becoming more and more intense, and the pressure brought by life is also very high. Therefore, our brain is always in a state of tension for a long time. I often feel depressed and physically and mentally exhausted. During the weekends, people often lack exercise, sleep too long, and have irregular lifestyles, etc. These reasons can easily lead to left-brain migraines.

In addition, there are many other causes of left-brain migraine, such as temperature. Many patients feel that when the temperature rises significantly, the headache will become more severe, but when the temperature drops, the number of headaches will decrease. In addition, sudden changes in altitude, rapid travel from one time zone to another, strong light, and hot environments may all cause left-brain migraines.
