In our lives, many people's lung health is not particularly good. They often cough and have phlegm in their throats, which can cause lung infections and pneumonia. At this time, they need to take some medicines that enter the lungs, otherwise it is likely to cause lung qi deficiency. When choosing medicines to treat the lungs, it is best to choose traditional Chinese medicine. So what are the traditional Chinese medicines that can enter the lung meridian? Drugs that are white in color or spicy in taste mostly belong to the lung meridian. Such as the spicy medicines ephedra, cinnamon twig, perilla leaf, schizonepeta, ginger, scallion, Elsholtzia, coriander, magnolia flower, mint, burdock and so on. White medicinal materials include yam, lily, white fungus, white chrysanthemum, poria cocos, ginkgo, etc. Those that are white in color and spicy in taste include gypsum, etc. However, the classification of drugs into meridians is not the result of "analogy". The classification of drugs into meridians is mainly based on their efficacy. Any medicine that can cure the disease of a certain meridian is classified as a medicine of that meridian. The so-called "white color or pungent taste" belongs to the lung meridian, which is only a general rule. There are some medicines that are white in color or pungent in taste that are not classified into the lung meridian, and there are some medicines that are not white in color or pungent in taste, but are classified into the lung meridian. The Lung Hand Taiyin Meridian starts from the middle burner, goes down to connect with the large intestine, and goes along the stomach, goes up to the diaphragm and belongs to the lung. From the lung system, it goes out horizontally from the armpit, goes down along the inside, goes in front of the Shaoyin Heart Meridian, goes down to the middle of the elbow, goes along the lower edge of the inner upper bone of the arm, enters the Cunkou, goes up to the fish, follows the thenar eminence, and comes out at the tip of the thumb. Its branch goes straight out from the back of the wrist, along the inner side of the second finger, and comes out at the end. If the patient moves, the lungs will swell, become distended and cause wheezing and coughing, and there will be pain in the supraclavicular fossa. In severe cases, the patient may cross his hands and become dizzy. This is called arm collapse. This is a disease caused by the lungs, with symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, thirst, restlessness and chest fullness, pain and numbness on the inner and anterior edge of the arms, and heat in the palms. If the Qi is excessive, there will be pain in the shoulders and back, colds, sweating, stroke, and frequent and insufficient urination. If the qi is deficient, there will be pain and coldness in the shoulders and back, insufficient air to breathe, and discoloration of urine. For these diseases, if they are severe, they should be drained; if they are weak, they should be supplemented; if they are hot, they should be treated quickly; if they are cold, they should be retained; if they are sunken, they should be moxibustioned; if they are neither severe nor weak, they should be treated according to the meridians. If the patient is in good health, the Cunkou pulse is three times larger than the Renying pulse, while if the patient is in poor health, the Cunkou pulse is smaller than the Renying pulse. 【Meridian Solution】 The middle burner is the Zhongwan. Stomach is the upper part of the stomach. Luo is like a bag. Xun means to patrol. Diaphragm is the diaphragm under the heart. The lung system refers to the throat. The area below the shoulder and above the ribs is called the armpit. The area below the shoulder is opposite the armpit. The end is the elbow. The arm is below the elbow. Lian means corner. The artery before the joint is Cunkou. The raised part of the flesh behind the thumb joint is collectively called Yu, and Yujie is the name of the acupoint in between. Duan means the end. Branches are like the twigs of a tree, with veins that run straight and sideways. The straight running meridians are called meridians, and the side running meridians are called collaterals. The end of the arm bone is the wrist. The hand Taiyin lung meridian originates from the middle burner, with grain qi entering the stomach, and its refined and subtle qi flows upward into the lung meridian. It connects to the large intestine downward, with the lungs and large intestine being exterior and interior to each other. The upper opening of the stomach belongs to the lung, that is, it goes out from the lung system horizontally to the armpit, from the Zhongfu and Yunmen in the chest to the armpit, goes down inside, passes through Tianfu and Xiabai, and runs in front of the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian and the Hand Jueyin Heart Master Pericardium Meridian, goes down into the elbow, and reaches the Chize point. After going down to the middle of the elbow, it follows the lower edge of the inner upper bone of the arm, passes through Kongzui and Lieque, enters the Jingqu of Cunkou, and goes to the Yu above Taiyuan. Then follow the thenar eminence to the tip of the big toe and end at the Shang point. Its branch starts from the Lieque point at the back of the wrist, connects with the Yangming meridian of the hand, goes to the Shangyang point, and then goes up along the Shangyang point. 【Song of Lung Meridian Acupoints】 Taiyin of hand, eleven points. Zhongfu, Yunmen, and Tianfu are in line, Xiabai is below Chize, Kongzui is seen at Lieque, Jingqu, Taiyuan is below Yujie, and it reaches Shaoshang like a leek leaf. 【Song of Means】 The Taiyin lung comes out of Zhongfu, about an inch below Yunmen, six inches beside Yunmen Xuanji, two inches below Jugu, three inches below Tianfu axilla, Xiabai five inches above the elbow, Chize about the horizontal line in the middle of the elbow, Kongzui seven inches above the wrist, Lieque one and a half inches on the wrist side, Jingqu Cunkou depression in the middle, Taiyuan at the head of the horizontal line behind the palm, the scattered pulse behind the Yujie joint, Shaoshang on the inner side of the thumb tip, about the size of the nail leaf away. |
