Can I use a sauna when I have a fever?

Because the human body needs to metabolize every day, taking a bath has become something people must do in their daily lives. Taking a bath at home may be nothing more than just rinsing, but it is often not thorough, so many friends choose to go to professional bathing centers because the equipment and services there are much better than at home. So, can I take a sauna when I have a fever?

It is best not to go to the sauna, because it can easily make your body weaker and your qi and blood weak. If you have a cold, it is best not to take a bath or go to the sauna, as this will be more detrimental to the recovery of the cold. Patients with colds must reduce the intensity of labor and time, drink more hot water to replenish the water lost due to fever, steaming saunas or taking long cold showers will cause the body to lose too much water, resulting in electrolyte imbalance in the body, which is not conducive to recovery.

Who is not suitable for sauna?

1. Heart disease patients.

We all know that the temperature in the sauna is very high, generally exceeding 40°C. Such an extremely high temperature will cause our breathing rate to increase and our body's oxygen consumption will also greatly increase. In order to better meet our oxygen supply needs, the heart will increase the amount of blood pumped, which will put a great burden on the heart. If people who already have heart disease take a sauna, they may easily suffer from heart failure due to excessive heart pressure.

2. Patients with hypertension.

Many people now have high blood pressure, and some younger people also have problems with high blood pressure. In fact, the elasticity of the blood vessel walls of patients with hypertension will decrease, and the blood vessels will become narrower, and many people will also experience blood clots. Under such circumstances, if you go to the sauna, it is easy to cause blood flow to impact the blood clot, which will eventually cause the blood clot to move forward with the blood flow and finally get blocked in the smaller arteries, so this is very dangerous.

3. Patients with epilepsy.

When taking a sauna, people will sweat a lot, their oxygen consumption will increase, and their blood flow will also speed up, so many people will have electrolyte imbalance problems under such circumstances. If you already have epilepsy, it is very easy for the disease to relapse under such circumstances. If not handled in time, it can easily cause excrement to block the trachea, eventually causing suffocation and irreversible damage.
