What can I eat if I have chickenpox? Does anyone know?

Whether it is a child or an adult, special attention should be paid to diet after suffering from chickenpox. Spicy and irritating foods should be avoided and light food should be consumed. The following dietary therapies are effective for patients with chickenpox.

1. Mung Bean and Barley Soup

Take 100 grams of mung beans, 100 grams of raw coix seeds, and an appropriate amount of white sugar. Add mung beans and coix seeds into water and boil into soup. Add appropriate amount of white sugar when taking it and drink it instead of tea.

2. Honeysuckle and Sugarcane Tea

10 grams of honeysuckle and 100 ml of sugarcane juice. Boil honeysuckle in water until reduced to 100 ml, add sugarcane juice and drink as tea. It can be taken frequently. Take one dose per day, and one course of treatment is 7 to 10 days.

3. Carrot and Coriander Soup

Wash and chop 60 grams each of carrots and coriander, add water and cook until soft, add rock sugar and take one dose per day, divided into 3 times. Take it for one week, and the baby only needs to eat the soup.

4. Mint Tofu

Prepare 50 grams of fresh mint leaves, 250 grams of tofu, and 30 grams of white sugar. Chop fresh mint leaves finely. Put tofu into a casserole and add water to boil. When it is almost cooked, add mint leaves. After 2 minutes, take out and place on a plate, add sugar and mix well. Take twice a day.

5. Lotus Leaf Rice Porridge

60 grams of rice, 1 lotus leaf. First cook the rice into porridge. When the porridge is cooked, cover the porridge with the washed lotus leaves and it is ready to eat.

6. Winter melon peel juice

30 grams of wax gourd peel or 15-30 grams of wax gourd seeds. Boil the juice in water and add rock sugar to drink.

7. Bamboo Leaf and Gypsum Porridge

First wash the bamboo leaves, boil them with gypsum and water for 30 minutes, remove the residue, add rice and cook into porridge, add appropriate amount of sugar for seasoning and take it 2 to 3 times a day for 3 to 5 days.

8. Red bean/mung bean drink

Boil red beans/mung beans in water and drink it as tea, or add water and cook it into porridge over low heat.
