What tea to drink for liver and gallbladder dampness and heat

Damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder exists in many people. Once it occurs, it is necessary to remove the dampness and heat. So what kind of tea would have a therapeutic effect on the condition of liver and gallbladder dampness and heat?

What kind of tea is good for liver and gallbladder dampness and heat?

The symptoms of damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder are mainly based on damp-heat, such as rib pain or distension, yellow eyes, yellow urine, yellow body, fever, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, constipation, red tip of the tongue, and yellow tongue coating. In addition, some women with damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder may experience symptoms such as yellow and smelly leucorrhea, and vulvar itching. Men with damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder will experience scrotal eczema and testicular swelling, heat and pain. So what kind of tea is good for liver and gallbladder dampness and heat?

1. Daylily drink. 15 grams of daylily (dried). Wash the day lily, add appropriate amount of water and boil it into soup, and drink it instead of tea. It has the effects of clearing heat, promoting diuresis and relieving jaundice. Suitable for chronic hepatitis, damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, and acute icteric hepatitis.

2. Drink with Artemisia capillaris, lotus leaves and jujube. 20 grams of Artemisia capillaris, 10 grams of lotus leaf, 10 dates, 10 grams of roasted licorice root, and 10 grams of ginger. Put the washed Artemisia capillaris, lotus leaves, jujubes, roasted licorice and ginger into a soup pot, add 2 liters of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook for 30 minutes. Drink as tea. Clears away heat and dampness, and soothes the liver and gallbladder.

3. Five juice drink. 100 grams each of pear, water chestnut (horse hoof), lotus root, and fresh reed root, and 50 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus. After washing and peeling the above five ingredients, use an instrument or container to crush and squeeze the juice for drinking. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, promoting body fluid and stopping diarrhea, and is suitable for chronic liver and gallbladder damp-heat type.

4. Dandelion tea. 30 grams of dandelion, 10 grams of Artemisia capillaris, 15 grams of Curcuma aromatica, 10 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis, and 5 grams of licorice, decocted in water and taken, 1 dose per day. Add or subtract as appropriate. Clears away heat, detoxifies, removes dampness, soothes the liver and relieves depression. It is suitable for cholecystitis caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, and stagnation of liver qi.

5. Shepherd's purse and plantain seed drink. 30 grams of shepherd's purse (50 grams of fresh product), 15 grams of plantain seeds (wrapped in gauze). Wash shepherd's purse, put it into a casserole together with plantain seeds, add appropriate amount of water, boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. It can clear away heat, promote diuresis and reduce swelling. It is especially suitable for people suffering from edema, accompanied by short, yellow and red urine, and dry mouth.

6. Artemisia capillaris honey tea. 10g of Artemisia capillaris and appropriate amount of honey. Soak Artemisia capillaris in an appropriate amount of cold boiled water for a while, then remove the cold boiled water, add honey and boiled water, soak and drink. Artemisia capillaris is bitter and slightly cold in nature, and enters the spleen, stomach, liver and gallbladder meridians. It can clear away heat, promote dampness and reduce jaundice. It has always been regarded as an important medicine for the treatment of jaundice in clinical Chinese medicine.
