There is also the method of rotating and pushing the ribbed surface of the distal segment of the thumb for tonifying the spleen meridian. Tonifying the spleen meridian and clearing the spleen meridian are collectively called pushing the spleen meridian. Nourishing the spleen meridian can strengthen the spleen and stomach, replenish qi and blood, while clearing the spleen meridian can clear away heat and dampness, resolve phlegm and stop vomiting.

2. The liver meridian is located on the rib surface of the distal segment of the index finger. Rotating and pushing is to nourish the liver meridian; pushing straight from the base of the finger to the fingertip is called clearing the liver meridian, and vice versa is also to nourish. Tonifying the Liver Meridian and clearing the Liver Meridian are collectively referred to as pushing the Liver Meridian Clearing the liver meridian can calm the liver and reduce fire, extinguish wind and calm the nerves, relieve depression and eliminate restlessness.

3. The Heart Meridian is located on the ribbed surface of the distal segment of the middle finger. Pushing straight from the base of the finger to the fingertip is called the Qingxin Meridian, and the opposite direction is called the Buxin Meridian. The Buxin Meridian and the Qingxin Meridian are collectively called the Tuixin Meridian. Pushing the Heart Meridian is effective for high fever, coma, irritability, night crying, mouth ulcers, and short and dark urine.

4. The lung meridian is located at the rib of the last segment of the ring finger. Pushing straight from the base of the finger to the fingertip is called clearing the lung meridian, and the opposite direction is called tonifying. Tonifying the lung meridian and clearing the lung meridian are collectively called pushing the lung meridian. Nourishing the lung meridian can replenish lung qi, while clearing the lung meridian can clear the lungs and clear heat.

5. The kidney meridian is located on the ribbed surface of the distal knuckle of the little finger. Pushing straight from the base of the finger to the fingertip is called clearing the kidney meridian, and the opposite is called tonifying the kidney meridian. Tonifying the kidney meridian and clearing the kidney meridian are collectively called pushing the kidney meridian. Bu Shen Meridian has the effect of nourishing the kidney and brain, warming and nourishing the lower abdomen, while Qing Shen Meridian can clear away dampness and heat in the lower abdomen.

6. A horizontal line is formed from the center of the eyebrows to the tip of the eyebrows. Pushing with both thumbs from the center of the eyebrows to the tips of the eyebrows on both sides is called pushing the Kan Palace, also known as dividing the yin and yang. Pushing the Kan Palace can dispel wind and relieve exterior symptoms, refresh the brain and improve eyesight, and stop headaches.

7. Zanzhu (Tianmen): A straight line from the midpoint of the two eyebrows to the front hairline . Pushing the two thumbs straight up alternately from bottom to top is called Tui Zanzhu, also known as Kaitianmen. Kaitianmen can dispel wind and relieve exterior symptoms, open the orifices and refresh the brain, calm and soothe the mind, and is suitable for both external and internal injuries.
