If these two names are taken out independently, people who don't know them can confirm that their properties and functions are so similar. So today we will discuss Chicken Gizzard Nei Jin and Jiao San Xian. Chicken Gizzard Nei Jin, a Chinese herbal medicine name, is the dried gizzard inner core of the chicken of the Pheasant family. After slaughtering the chicken, take out the gizzard, tear off the inner core immediately, clean it and dry it. This product is irregularly rolled, about 2mm thick, with a light yellow, light green or brown surface, thin and transparent, with obvious strip-shaped wrinkles, brittle, easy to break, cuticle-like cross section, glossy, slightly fishy, and a bit bitter. Jiao Sanxian is not just one medicine but three medicines, namely, scorched malt, scorched hawthorn, and scorched Shenqu. So what are the key differences between Chicken Gizzard and Jiao Sanxian? Although both of them have the effect of aiding digestion, their functions in other aspects are different. Effects of different processed chicken gizzard lining products on gastrointestinal function in mice: Intragastric administration of raw chicken gizzard lining and different processed products: fried seafood, scalded sand, vinegar and baked products at 0.2 ml/10g had an effect on the gastrointestinal function in mice and compared with saline. Although the driving effect of various gun products has an upward trend, it is not significant (P<0.05). The results suggest that the digestive effect of chicken gizzard lining is not caused by the local effect of the drug in the stomach or by directly stimulating gastrointestinal motility. It may be that the drug enters the blood after absorption, stimulating gastric gland metabolism and thus playing an indirect role in promoting digestion. Chicken's gizzard lining has anti-cancer effects: in vitro tests show that chicken's gizzard lining has the effect of inhibiting tumor cells. After taking this product orally, gastric acid secretion, acid value and digestion capacity are all increased, gastric motility is enhanced, excretion rate is accelerated, and the secretory effect is even stronger than meat and bone meal. The effect is as if it enters the blood after digestion, and stimulates the neuromuscular apparatus of the gastric mucosa through blood elements. Jiao Sanxian is the general name for the combination of Jiao Shenqu, Jiao Shanzha and Jiao Maiyao. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and stomach, aiding digestion and relieving constipation. Jiao Shenqu tastes sweet and spicy, and has a warm medicinal effect. Enters the spleen, liver and gallbladder meridians. It strengthens the spleen and stomach, and aids digestion. It is used to treat dietary stagnation, chest and abdominal distension, vomiting and diarrhea, abdominal pain caused by blood stasis after childbirth, and enlarged and hard abdomen in children. Scorched hawthorn is slightly bitter and sweet, with a slightly warm effect, and it affects the spleen, stomach, and liver meridians. It aids digestion, invigorates the stomach and helps digestion, promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis, and has astringent properties to stop diarrhea. It is used to treat meat accumulation and phlegm, fullness and acid regurgitation, diarrhea, intestinal wind, low back pain and hernia, pillow pain after childbirth, lochia, and stagnation of milk and food in children. Roasted malt tastes sweet and has a mild medicinal effect. It enters the spleen, liver and gallbladder meridians. Function: Regulates qi and aids digestion, strengthens the spleen and nourishes the stomach, reduces lactation and relieves bloating. It is used for undigested food accumulation, abdominal distension and pain, spleen deficiency and food stagnation, milk gas accumulation, breast pain, and weaning in women. The combination of these three herbs has the effect of eliminating food accumulation and is suitable for symptoms such as poor appetite, indigestion, and abdominal distension. Jiao Sanxian is often used in medicines, or simply used as a decoction, 15 to 30 grams each time. Adding burnt betel nut to Jiao Sanxian is called Jiao Sixian, which further enhances its effects of warming the yang and breaking up accumulations. Jiao Sanxian is a product that can eliminate stagnation and relieve constipation. It can promote digestion and eliminate greasiness in noodles and meat products. |
