I feel a pain in my head.

I feel a pain in my head.

The symptom of migraine has occurred in many people, and migraine has certain genetic causes. Therefore, if your parents have migraine symptoms, you may also have migraine. In addition to the headache caused by migraine, there are other reasons that can also cause headaches. Some people feel that there is a dull pain in a nerve in their head. What causes this?

If a tendon on the head experiences a pulling or lightning-like pain every few minutes, and the pain mainly radiates from the back of the head to the top of the head, in this case, occipital neuralgia is more likely to be considered. The main cause of occipital neuralgia is the pain caused by cervical spine lesions compressing the occipital nerve. In this case, cervical traction is generally required, or appropriate hormones, glycerol fructose dehydration treatment, intramuscular injection of vitamin B1, vitamin B12 to nourish the nerves, and oral Lyrica anti-neuralgia treatment are required. In most cases, occipital neuralgia can be relieved.

What to do if you often have headaches

Normally, if you have a cold and a headache, you can just sleep for a night. But if it is a long-term headache caused by other reasons, it is not as simple as just taking a night’s rest. If you suffer from frequent headaches, try the following relief and treatment methods.

1. Take appropriate medication

If it is a tension headache, taking aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs may help, but it must be taken in moderation and according to the doctor's instructions. Do not take excessively, otherwise it may be counterproductive.

2. Apply hot towel to neck

If the headache is caused by cervical spondylosis, you can apply a hot towel to the cervical spine when the disease occurs. During the application process, pay more attention to the temperature of the towel and change it if it gets cold.

3. Do proper exercise

Exercise can relax the body and relieve the mind. When a headache occurs, if you can still hold on, you can try to do appropriate exercise to relieve it. However, you should not exercise too vigorously to avoid aggravating the condition.

4. Take more rest

Resting in bed can relax the body and soothe the emotions. Getting more rest can be used to relieve the symptoms of tension headaches.

5. Deep breathing relief method

Sit up straight and relieve your tense mind by following the inhale-exhale-inhale pattern until the rise and fall of your stomach becomes more noticeable than your chest, indicating that the situation has been relieved.
