The child's urine is like rice soup and milky white

Even if a child's urine usually does not change significantly and is just like water, if he drinks less water occasionally, the urine will be yellower. Careful parents will find that their baby's urine recently is milky white like rice soup. This is turbid urine, and it may be caused by kidney function, heart function, and some congenital factors in the body.

First, nocturia caused by kidney disease: For example, patients with renal concentrating insufficiency and edema caused by chronic nephritis may have frequent nocturia when lying flat at night due to increased reflux of edema fluid.

Second, nocturia caused by heart failure: patients have high activity during the day, heart failure is more obvious, blood flow is reduced, and urine volume is less. During sleep at night, heart function improves and urine output increases. Therefore, frequent urination at night is often an early sign of heart failure.

Third, nocturia caused by diabetes and diabetes insipidus: These two diseases not only cause frequent urination at night, but also frequent urination during the day. The reasons for this have been described in the section on polyuria.

Frequent urination at night may also be caused by psychological factors. For example, insomniacs are often in a state of mental tension, which can lead to faster heartbeat, increased blood circulation, and increased nocturnal urination.

In addition, frequent urination at night is also related to age. Many elderly people experience increased nocturnal urination. This is because as they age, the weight and blood flow of the kidneys tend to decrease. It progressively declines from the age of thirty to sixty, and at eighty it is only half of that at forty. The renal tubules of the elderly degenerate, atrophy or expand, which leads to the decline of the function of concentrating urine. A large amount of water is excreted from the body, resulting in polyuria and nocturia.

Treatment

First of all, it is not recommended to take medicine on your own to treat white urine discharge. There are two reasons for this: 1. Due to individual differences, if a medication reaction occurs, it may not be handled in time. 2. The misuse of antibiotics is not conducive to subsequent regular treatment, and it is easy to produce drug resistance and cause bacterial imbalance, which may backfire and cause other bacterial infections. The treatment of white urine should first check what the cause is, such as urethritis, prostatitis, etc., and then treat it after determining the cause. Prostatitis can be treated with CIS comprehensive prostate therapy or targeted shock therapy.
