(1) Take this product and observe it under a microscope: the irregular branched masses are colorless and dissolve in chloral hydrate solution; the hyphae are colorless or light brown, with a diameter of 4 to 6 μm. The rubber filaments are in strips or twisted into balls, with a granular surface. The connecting milk duct has a diameter of 12 to 15 μm and contains fine particles. The oil tubules contain golden secretions and are 17 to 60 μm in diameter. The thin-walled cells are spindle-shaped, with slightly thick walls and very fine oblique interlaced texture. The parenchyma is gray-brown to dark brown, the cells are mostly wrinkled, and contain brown nuclei. The thin-walled cells around the fiber bundles contain prismatic crystals of calcium oxalate. Forming crystal fibers. The fibers are light yellow, prismatic, 16 to 44 μm in diameter, with uneven wall thickness, and dense pores and grooves. Calcium oxalate needles are tiny and scattered in the ray cells. The thin-walled cells containing gelatinized starch granules are quasi-circular, quasi-rectangular or rounded polygonal in shape, with a diameter of 40 to 102 μm. When exposed to chloral hydrate solution, the gelatinized starch granules dissolve.
