Why do I have diarrhea every day?

What we usually call diarrhea is actually loose stools. The causes of loose stools are usually related to diet. Usually, loose stools are urgent, and in severe cases, you may need to go to the toilet once every half an hour. If you do not use medication in time at this time, it can easily cause harm to your body. If you have diarrhea every day, the problem may be more serious. So what is the reason for having diarrhea every day?

Generally speaking, diarrhea can be divided into two types: acute and chronic. If you have diarrhea every day, it is considered chronic diarrhea, which may have a lot to do with intestinal infection. However, some diarrhea is caused by poor intestinal absorption, which may also lead to daily diarrhea. There are many causes of diarrhea, including bacterial or viral infection, food poisoning, drug reaction and other factors. Diarrhea can also be one of the clinical manifestations of systemic diseases.

Causes of diarrhea:

1. Food poisoning: ① Bacterial food poisoning: Eating food contaminated by bacteria and their toxins can cause intestinal inflammation and diarrhea. Bacteria that cause food poisoning include Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus, halophilic bacteria, etc. ③Poisoning from sprouted potatoes.

2. Intestinal infection: ① Bacterial infection: Shigella dysenteriae can cause bacterial dysentery. ②Viral infection: Rotavirus can cause rotavirus enteritis. ③Fungal infection: Candida albicans can cause candidal enteritis. ④ Parasitic infection: such as amoeba can cause amoebic dysentery.

3. Non-infectious intestinal inflammation: such as chronic nonspecific ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc. can cause diarrhea due to increased exudation.

4. Tumors: such as rectal cancer and colon cancer, can cause diarrhea due to the involvement of the mucosa.

5. Indigestion: Intestinal flora imbalance or lack of digestive enzymes can lead to abnormal decomposition of food, which cannot be digested and absorbed well. Most patients will have diarrhea. The above are all causes of diarrhea.

After knowing what is going on with diarrhea every day, you can make a targeted treatment plan when you have diarrhea again. If you still have diarrhea every day after paying attention to food hygiene, it is recommended that you go to the hospital to check your stomach and intestines to see if there is an infection. If there is, you can get immediate treatment!
