How to treat lobular breast hyperplasia

The onset of lobular hyperplasia of the breast can occur at any age after adolescence, so it is a common breast disease that exists in most women. However, there are many types of lobular hyperplasia, some mild and some severe. When the disease is mild, it is generally not treated with medication. If the hyperplasia is more severe, medication or even physical therapy will be involved.

There are many reasons for hyperplasia. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is caused by the blockage of meridians, which means blood stasis. For example, women often hold their tempers in their anger. Many cosmetics contain chemical ingredients that can affect our breasts.

The occurrence of lobular hyperplasia of the breast is due to ovarian dysfunction, which leads to a relative increase in estrogen secretion. It feels like touching a rubber block. There is no adhesion between the lump and the skin and deep tissue. It can be pushed, but the boundary with the surrounding tissue is unclear. The lump may be limited to one part of the breast or may be scattered throughout the breast. The patient often feels breast pain, which is cyclical, especially 3 to 4 days before menstruation. The pain is relieved once menstruation comes, but it often does not disappear.

Most patients with lobular hyperplasia of the breast often experience spontaneous remission within a few months to 1 to 2 years after onset, so generally no treatment is required. You can usually use a bra to support your breasts to relieve the pain, but it cannot be a fundamental cure.

The so-called lobular hyperplasia is just a slightly excessive growth of the breast lobules in a small number of women. Not all women who experience breast problems during their menstrual cycle should be labeled as having lobular hyperplasia.

Lobular hyperplasia of the breast is a common breast disease in middle-aged women. Once you find a breast lump or experience breast tenderness or nipple discharge during the menstrual period, you should go to a specialist hospital for examination in time to prevent hidden dangers. The detection rate among adult women in large cities is 10-15%, and among educated women it is 30% or even higher. Western medicine generally believes that lobular hyperplasia of the breast is related to mental and endocrine disorders. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it breast disease and believes that it is mostly caused by liver depression and qi stagnation, and some are caused by Chong and Ren disorders.
