Treatment methods for constipation

Treatment methods for constipation

With the faster and faster development of modernization, people's quality of life is constantly improving. Naturally, people's eating habits are also constantly improving. It is precisely because of this situation that constipation is also relatively common in society. So everyone doesn’t need to worry too much, because the only thing that is really worth worrying about is the treatment method of constipation.

As for the treatment methods of this type of constipation, there are actually quite a lot of them in society. Below is some timely information about the treatment methods of this type of constipation, and we hope that everyone can make good use of them.

1. General treatment: including diet, exercise, changing bad habits, etc. For ordinary people without organic diseases, diet therapy is the first choice, that is, adding fiber foods to the diet, such as bran, fruits, vegetables, etc.; exercise is very helpful for ordinary people's defecation, and patients who are bedridden for a long time often have constipation leading to fecal impaction; correcting tension in life, slowing down the pace of work and correcting bad habits such as long-term holding back bowel movements are also crucial for some people with constipation.

2. Drug treatment: Despite the above methods, many people with constipation still need to use laxatives to assist defecation. Occasional use of laxatives will not cause adverse consequences for people with general constipation, but long-term use of laxatives may cause dependence. Laxatives are generally divided into stimulant laxatives (such as rhubarb, senna, phenolphthalein, castor oil), saline laxatives (such as magnesium sulfate), osmotic laxatives (such as mannitol), bulking laxatives (such as enema made of bran, konjac flour, agar), and lubricating laxatives (such as paraffin oil).

It is recommended that patients with constipation choose flexible capsules made of pure fruit and vegetable ingredients to treat constipation. First of all, this is because this kind of pure fruit and vegetable health care product is neither a Western medicine nor a Chinese medicine, so naturally there is no side effect of "all medicines are three-point poison". In addition, the main ingredients of this pure fruit and vegetable product are extracted from fruits and vegetables that are very effective in treating constipation, and there is no essential difference from eating fruits. Therefore, compared with traditional constipation medicines, pure fruit and vegetable products are greener and healthier.

However, there are not many pure fruit and vegetable products for treating constipation in China at present, and there are even only a handful of them. Naturally, there are also very few that are effective and authoritative. As far as I know, Biantong Fruit and Vegetable Laxative Capsules should be considered very good. As a pure fruit and vegetable product on the market, Biantong Capsules are worthy of recommendation and recognition in terms of efficacy and reputation.

3. Hydrotherapy: This is an effective new treatment for stubborn constipation. Through the instrument, sterilized and purified saline is continuously injected into the anus. After repeated flushing, the feces accumulated in the large intestine are discharged, thereby clearing out toxins, bacteria and parasites in the intestine and restoring the normal absorption and excretion function of the intestine. Unlike oral laxatives and ordinary colon cleansing, this method of treating constipation is painless, cleanses thoroughly, is suitable for all types of constipation, and has the effect of detoxifying and beautifying the skin. Generally once every 1 to 3 months, each session lasts 45 minutes.

4. Biofeedback therapy: Biofeedback therapy uses pressure measurement and electromyography equipment to enable patients to intuitively perceive the functional status of their pelvic floor muscles during defecation, understand how to relax the pelvic floor muscles during defecation, and increase intra-abdominal pressure to achieve defecation. Before treatment, the pelvic floor anatomy and physiology must be explained to the patient, as well as the methods and steps of the treatment so that the patient can cooperate with the treatment. Mastering how to adjust bowel movements according to changes in pressure and learning how to relax the pelvic floor muscles requires repeated training to establish conditioned reflexes to achieve this.

5. Treatment of fecal impaction: Enema, oral laxatives, and rectal suppositories are commonly used, but are often ineffective. You can use manual techniques to squeeze the anal area, and women can use their fingers to press the posterior wall of the vulva to facilitate defecation. The commonly used clinical method for treating constipation is to insert the index finger (wearing a glove) into the anus, divide the dry fecal mass into small pieces, and then pick them out or use a suppository to stimulate excretion. If this is ineffective, the fecal mass should be picked out under local anesthesia.

6. Surgical treatment: If conservative treatment for constipation is ineffective, some examination methods can be used to see if there is an organic lesion. That is, whether there are any surgical diseases that require surgical treatment. Surgical conditions for slow-transit constipation: ① No colonic tension; ② No outlet obstruction; ③ Exclusion of irritable bowel syndrome. Segmental or subtotal colon resection can be performed.

Through the above understanding and introduction, I believe everyone has a certain understanding of the treatment methods of this constipation. At the same time, I also hope that the above knowledge can be helpful. At the same time, I also hope that everyone can do more exercise in daily life, speed up the metabolism, and eat more healthy green vegetables.
