Skin urticaria

Skin urticaria

Urticaria is now a very common skin disease. If you suffer from urticaria, you don’t know what you touch or eat in your life, which will cause an attack. The unbearable itching during the attack is the most painful for the patient. The cause of skin urticaria is generally due to a lack of vitamins in the body. There are toxins in the blood. It is necessary to seek timely treatment, especially to avoid foods that may easily cause urticaria.

Urticaria, a common skin disease, is easily inherited. The most obvious symptom when urticaria occurs is itching. Some people can't stand it and keep scratching, which will cause certain damage to the skin. We must know about skin urticaria in order to effectively overcome it.

Urticaria is commonly known as wheals, urticaria, wind bumps, urticaria (similar in name to rubella, but not the same disease) and rice bumps. Urticaria is a common skin disease. Various factors cause temporary inflammatory congestion and large amounts of fluid exudation in the blood vessels of the skin and mucous membranes, which is caused by temporary dilation of the microvessels, increased permeability, and infiltration of serum into the tissues, resulting in local edema damage. It occurs or disappears rapidly and is extremely itchy. There may be fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea or other systemic symptoms. It can be divided into acute urticaria, chronic urticaria, angioedema and papular urticaria.

Causes

1. Food: Fish, shrimp, eggs and milk are the most common, followed by certain meats and certain plant foods such as strawberries, cocoa, tomatoes or garlic and other condiments. In addition, spoiled food decomposes into polypeptides, and alkaline polypeptides are histamine releasers. Protein foods are absorbed in the form of peptones or polypeptides before being completely digested, which can cause urticaria. This is more common in children and may also be due to the different permeability of the digestive tract mucosa in children and adults. In addition, coloring, flavoring, preservatives, and natural or synthetic substances added to food can also cause urticaria.

2. Drugs: They can be divided into two categories. One is drugs that can form antigens, such as penicillin, serum, vaccines, sulfonamides, furazolidone, etc.; the other is histamine releasers, such as aspirin, morphine, codeine, pethidine, polymyxin, vitamin B, quinine, hydralazine, etc.

3. Infection: Various infectious factors can cause this disease. The most common ones are viruses that cause upper respiratory tract infections and Staphylococcus aureus, followed by hepatitis, infectious mononucleosis and coxsackievirus; parasitic infections such as ascariasis, hookworms, schistosomiasis, filariasis, amoeba and malarial parasites; bacterial infections such as acute tonsillitis, alveolar abscess, sinusitis, impetigo, sepsis, etc.

4. Inhalants: pollen, dust, animal dander, smoke, feathers, fungal spores, volatile chemicals (such as formaldehyde, acrolein, pyrethrum, cosmetics, etc.) and other airborne allergens.

5. Physical factors: physical and mechanical stimuli such as cold, heat, sunlight, friction and pressure.

6. Animal and plant factors: such as insect bites, piercing of poisonous hairs (such as caterpillars, beetles and moths piercing the skin) and contact with nettles, wool, etc.

7. Mental factors: mental stress or excitement, and exercise cause the release of acetylcholine.

Many people around us have symptoms of skin urticaria, which is very distressing to see them. Not only is it difficult to cure, but this disease is also very easy to relapse. You don’t know what you eat and you will have allergic reactions. Therefore, patients must know more about some of the causes that can cause urticaria in order to effectively prevent the onset of the disease.
