Stomach pain is a very common phenomenon. Many times it may be caused by eating raw, cold or spoiled food, catching a cold due to cold weather or staying in an air-conditioned room for a long time. It can also be a precursor to illness. No matter what the cause is, you should seek medical treatment in time to avoid unnecessary trouble. But some people will experience local pain, such as pain in the lower right side of the abdomen. This should be paid attention to, as it may be a sign of appendicitis. So what should we do in this situation? The pain of appendicitis usually starts in the upper abdomen and usually moves to the lower right side of the abdomen after a few hours. When appendicitis is not serious, fever usually does not occur. If appendicitis is severe and develops rapidly, and if the inflammation is not controlled in time, the appendix may become purulent. When the appendix becomes inflamed, leukocytosis and neutrophilia are often present. There is pressing pain in the middle and outer 1/3 of the line between the navel and the anterior superior iliac spine (that is, the area of McBurney's point). When inflammation spreads to the retroperitoneum, rebound pain may also occur. If the appendix is not purulent, the body temperature is not high, and there is only tenderness but no rebound pain at McBurney's point, conservative treatment can be adopted. Once the appendix becomes purulent, it is best to undergo surgery in a timely manner. When you have ureteral stones, you may also experience pain in the lower right abdomen. It can be confirmed by B-ultrasound and abdominal plain film. If the ureteral stones are small, the pain is usually more severe after activity. If the ureteral stone is relatively large, the main symptom is dull pain. When ureteral stones are larger than 0.6 cm, lithotripsy is best performed. After lithotripsy, the stones will gradually become smaller. If you drink more water, exercise more, and take medicines such as stone-removing granules, you can better promote the excretion of stones. If you suffer from gastric ulcer and do not pay attention to it, you may get perforation of the stomach wall after overeating or drinking too much. When perforation occurs, the digestive juices and food in the stomach will flow into the right lower abdomen, irritating the peritoneum in the right lower abdomen and causing severe pain. After a gastrointestinal ulcer perforates, it is best to undergo surgical treatment in a timely manner. When you have colon cancer, you may also experience pain in the right lower abdomen. It will also be accompanied by symptoms such as anemia, weight loss, and general weakness. If you find right lower abdominal pain accompanied by the above symptoms, it is best to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time. When you suffer from chronic colitis, you may also experience pain in the right lower abdomen. After the diagnosis is confirmed, it is best to follow the doctor's advice for timely diagnosis and treatment. For female friends, if you experience pain in the right lower abdomen, you should also consider whether you have a gynecological disease. It is best to go to a hospital specialist for examination and treatment. |
