What is high globulin?

Globulin is a simple protein that is insoluble in water, but will precipitate and coagulate when heated. It is mainly composed of lactoglobulin type. Globulin exists in all animal and plant cells and body fluids. The most familiar globulin is human serum globulin, which has the effect of treating autoimmune diseases, regulating the functions of various parts of the body, and treating some other diseases. It is produced by human lymphocytes, but increased globulin will also bring certain harm.

Globulin is mainly divided into the following four types, but it is believed that abnormal increase of globulin can also bring harm. Increased globulin can cause many harms to the human body. For example, it can stimulate and affect various organs, increase blood lipids, and cause metabolic diseases of the heart and lungs.

1. When the liver is inflamed, α1 globulin will increase, which means the condition is mild;

2. α2 globulin can reflect the severity of hepatitis lesions. In the early stages of viral hepatitis, α2 globulin mostly remains normal. As the disease progresses, it will gradually increase. When liver cancer, cholestasis, and increased blood lipids occur, α2 will increase accordingly;

3. β-globulin will most likely increase in cholestatic liver disease;

4. Gamma globulin will increase in almost all liver and gallbladder diseases. If gamma globulin continues to rise without other explanations, it often means that the condition has worsened and has turned into chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis. In severe hepatitis, gamma globulin may increase significantly.

The above are the reasons for increased globulin. The main reasons for increased globulin are the above four reasons. Increased globulin will cause inflammation. Once the increase in globulin is discovered, it must be treated in advance, otherwise it will cause damage to the liver. It will turn into chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis and even turn into liver cancer. Therefore, if the globulin level is found to be high, it must be treated in advance to prevent it from harming the human body.
