Uterine fibroids are a common type of endometrial invasion of the uterine muscle wall. It is also a common disease among women. Uterine fibroids are also a type of tumor and are a very important disease in daily life. The main clinical manifestation is dysmenorrhea, which causes pain for more than ten days and menstruation comes a week in advance. The symptoms will be relieved after the menstruation is over. It leads to increased menstrual volume and prolonged menstrual cycle. It is painful and difficult to defecate. Therefore, uterine fibroids must be detected and treated early. This serious disease mainly occurs in women in their 50s or closer to menopause. It is a gynecological inflammation caused by irregular menstrual bleeding. Its cause is not clear, but it is mainly caused by caesarean section or some uterine blood accumulation. The so-called adenomyoma is a manifestation of adenomyosis. In clinical practice, doctors still use adenomyosis as the diagnostic name, and rarely use adenomyoma as the diagnostic name. The so-called adenomyosis or uterine adenomyoma refers to a disease in which endometrial tissue exists within the uterine muscle layer. It is a benign disease. Clinical diagnosis is mainly based on symptoms, internal examination, tumor index CA-125 and ultrasound. Patients usually have a history of dysmenorrhea, which often starts one or two days before menstruation, lasts throughout the menstrual period, and can still occur a few days after the menstrual period ends. Some women also have problems such as excessive menstrual bleeding, painful intercourse and infertility. However, about half of the patients are asymptomatic, because after hysterectomy for other diseases, pathological examination accidentally discovered adenomyosis. Internal examination may reveal diffuse uterine hypertrophy, which is usually globular but rarely exceeds the size of a 12-week gestational age. The uterus swells during menstruation and may be tender during internal examination. It shrinks slightly and the tenderness disappears at the end of menstruation. Ultrasound examination can reveal that the entire uterus has become larger, the uterine wall has thickened, especially the posterior wall, and there is also an increase in ultrasound echoes. If the myometrium thickens and integrates into a tumor-like mass with strong echo characteristics, it is generally called a uterine adenomyoma. Recently, some people have used three-dimensional energy ultrasound to display changes in uterine myometrial blood flow for diagnosis. In addition, the tumor index CA-125 of patients with adenomyosis sometimes increases, which can be used as a reference for diagnosis. However, to confirm the diagnosis, it is still necessary to surgically remove the uterus or do a laparoscopic uterine biopsy and then send it for pathological examination. The main symptoms of uterine fibroids are as mentioned above. At the same time, uterine fibroids will shrink and disappear at the end of menstruation. Ultrasound examination can show that the entire uterus has become larger. If you find uterine fibroids after wearing them, you must seek treatment. At the same time, uterine fibroids are one of the most life-threatening tumors and must be discovered and treated early, and further examinations are required. |
