There is a lump in the chest

Many female compatriots often worry about their body shape. Because of weight loss, many people feel a lump when pressing their chest. This should attract the attention of female patients. This is relatively normal for girls in puberty, but women of other ages should detect symptoms in a timely manner and make an accurate judgment of the symptoms.

Breast lumps are a major symptom of many diseases. At this time, patients should always pay attention to some adverse reactions in the body to detect disease symptoms. Patients should pay full attention to such symptoms to avoid the spread of the disease due to the patient's carelessness.

Breast lumps are a common clinical manifestation of breast diseases. Many diseases can manifest as breast lumps with different characteristics. Knowing how to identify breast lumps can help detect breast tumors at an early stage.

① Breast fibroadenoma: It is the most common benign breast tumor, which is prone to occur in young women, in one or both breasts. Most of them are solitary, and a few are multiple. The tumor is round or oval, grows slowly, has a smooth surface, a flexible texture, and clear boundaries. The tumor is easy to be pushed and has no adhesion to the skin.

②Breast cancer: It is the most common malignant tumor. In the early stage, it is a painless solitary lump that grows fast, has a rough surface, a hard texture, unclear boundaries, and is difficult to move. When the lump grows larger, it adheres to the skin, and the skin dimple sign and orange peel sign may appear. It can cause the nipple to retract, the breast to contract and be fixed to the chest wall, or even ulcerate, with pus and blood or continuous bleeding. It can also metastasize to the axillary and supraclavicular lymph nodes, and to distant organs.

③ Fibrocystic breast disease: The lumps are irregular in shape, appearing in the form of flakes, nodules or cords, with unclear boundaries and no adhesion to the skin. They increase or decrease with the menstrual cycle and are often accompanied by breast tenderness or tingling.

Normal breast tissue is soft, uniform and elastic. If the breast tissue thickens, and cords, thickening, nodules and lumps of varying sizes appear, these are all abnormal changes in the breast. Once a lump is found in the breast, no matter its size or nature, you should see a doctor immediately for examination. Therefore, regular breast self-examination and visiting a hospital specialist are particularly important for early detection of breast diseases.

In daily life, patients should relax their bodies, which can relieve physical symptoms mentally and achieve twice the result with half the effort in treatment. Of course, if you regularly perform simple physical examinations on yourself in your life, you can discover symptoms earlier. If you find similar symptoms, you should go to the hospital in time to receive a doctor's examination.
