Symptoms of renal failure

Symptoms of renal failure

The kidney is a very important organ in our body, and its health can largely determine our life expectancy. Therefore, in daily life, we should not only pay attention to dietary issues, but also try to avoid fatigue. Proper rest can give the body a full relaxation process. Otherwise, once renal failure occurs, it will undoubtedly be a fatal blow to the whole family.

The early clinical manifestations of chronic renal failure are not obvious, but as long as you pay attention to your health, it is not difficult to find clues. The symptoms exhibited by different patients with chronic renal failure are not exactly the same. If you experience one or more of the following symptoms you should go to the hospital immediately:

Symptoms of renal failure

(1) Digestive system symptoms are the earliest and most common symptoms of chronic renal failure. The main symptoms are poor appetite, taste disorders, nausea and vomiting, and in rare cases, diarrhea, abdominal distension and constipation.

(2) The face turns yellow or pale. This is due to anemia. Impaired renal function is often accompanied by anemia, but the development of anemia is also very slow. The contrast is generally not too great over a period of time and often does not attract attention.

(3) Decreased urine volume. Due to decreased renal filtration function, some patients will experience decreased urine output as the disease progresses. There are also many patients with normal urine volume, but the toxins excreted in the urine are reduced, so the quality of kidney function cannot be judged solely by urine volume.

(4) Hypertension. When the kidneys are damaged, they cannot excrete water and sodium normally, resulting in water and sodium retention in the body. In addition, when the kidneys are damaged, they will secrete some substances that increase blood pressure. Therefore, varying degrees of hypertension will appear in the early stages of uremia.

(5) Easily tired and weak. This may be the earliest symptom, but it is easy to be ignored because there are so many reasons that can cause fatigue. It is especially easy for those who are "fighting hard" in their careers to ignore it.

The clinical manifestations of chronic renal insufficiency are varied and varied. In addition to the symptoms mentioned above, there may be other manifestations. Of course, some patients do not experience all these symptoms. In this case, only regular urine routine and other examinations can help to detect and treat the disease early.
