Many people don’t know much about the symptoms of tinea manuum, so when treating it, they don’t know what method to choose. If they want to treat this type of disease well, the choice of method is also very critical.

Symptoms of ringworm:

Blister-scaly type

The onset is mostly single, starting in a certain part of the palm, especially the palm, the palm surface, side and root of the index and ring fingers. It starts as needle-sized blisters with thick and shiny walls and clear fluid. The blisters gather in groups or are scattered, and the patient feels itchy. After the blisters dry, they desquamate and gradually spread to the surrounding areas to form ring-shaped or multi-ring-shaped lesions with clear edges and a chronic course that lasts for many years until the entire palm is affected and spreads to the back of the hand and nails, and even the opposite palm. Sometimes blisters can become infected and form pustules.

Hyperkeratosis

It often occurs on the palms and soles (if it is tinea pedis, it is on the heels). The skin is often dry, with thickened keratin, rough and scaly surface, darkened texture, and prone to cracking. The lesions can spread to the back of the hands (dorsum of the feet). There is generally no itching, but pain when there is cracking.

Maceration and erosion

Also known as the intertrigo type, it often occurs between the fingers and toes. The symptoms are skin infiltration and whitishness, a soft and easily peeling surface, revealing redness, erosion and even cracks. There are varying degrees of itching, and a foul odor when secondary bacterial infection occurs.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of the symptoms of tinea manuum. Therefore, when treating such a disease, medication is the best choice. This treatment method is very effective in stabilizing the patient's disease. At the same time, when treating such a disease, we should also pay attention to diet and eat less bitter and greasy food.
