Can raisins be soaked in wine?

For friends who like to drink, they will feel uncomfortable if they don’t drink in their daily life. In fact, this is the same principle as smoking. The human body is already addicted, so it is necessary to drink alcohol. If you drink too much alcohol in your life, it will have a great impact on your health, and you may even suffer from serious diseases due to alcoholism. So the question is, can raisins also be used to make wine?

How to make raisins wine

1. Ingredients: 500 grams of raisins, 200 grams of rock sugar, 500 grams of liquor with an alcohol content of more than 52%.

2. Wash the raisins, dry them completely, remove the stems, and cut the raisins several times with a knife. Put them into a wide-mouthed glass bottle with a layer of raisins and a layer of rock sugar. Then pour in the white wine and seal the bottle tightly.

3. Place it in a cool place and let it soak for three months, then you can open the filter residue and bottle it for drinking.

Additional information

1. Raisins (English name: raisin) are the fruits of grapes dried in the sun or in the shade. Grape is also known as Grass Dragon Ball. It is mainly produced in Xinjiang, Gansu, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong and other places. Harvest in late summer and early autumn, used fresh or dried for later use. Raisin flesh is soft, sweet and nutritious.

2. There are many ways to air-dry grapes. Some grapes are picked later, allowing them to hang on the branches to dry naturally; others are dried on dry straw, and the resulting wine is called "straw wine". Italy has an ancient winemaking method called the "dead vine method". Before making wine, the picked bunches of grapes are placed in a ventilated and dry room to dry. The wine brewed in this way has a higher alcohol content and a rich fruity flavor.

3. The raisins used in making wine are not ordinary snack raisins. After all, winemaking requires at least some juice for fermentation. Brewers use air-dried grapes that have lost some water. By reducing the water content, they can obtain concentrated grape juice with high sweetness and acidity, making the wine brewed in this way more mellow.
