Six hormone test time

Six hormone test time

Nowadays, many women experience miscarriage for unknown reasons after becoming pregnant. In order to avoid miscarriage again in the next pregnancy, women need to undergo six hormone tests to see what causes the miscarriage, so that they can supplement certain hormones to ensure that they can smoothly go through the pregnancy next time and avoid miscarriage.

In fact, the so-called six hormone tests are to detect the specific endocrine conditions of women. However, it should be pointed out that the six hormone tests cannot be performed at any time. They need to be performed according to the women's menstrual cycle. So, when is the specific time for the six hormone tests?

The best time for women to undergo six hormone tests is five days after the onset of menstruation. Infertility experts point out that this period belongs to the early follicular stage and can reflect the functional state of the ovaries. However, some women do not have their periods for a long time but are eager to check. This can be done at any time. We generally assume this time to be the time before menstruation, and the results will refer to the luteal phase examination. Women should grasp the time to check the six hormones.

What are the six sex hormones? Luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2), testosterone (TEST), progesterone (PG), and pituitary prolactin (PRL).

What are the standard values for the six female hormone tests? When a woman's FSH value is during her menstrual period, it is generally 5.8 and her LH value is 4.8, which is considered normal. The normal value of estrogen (E2) during menstruation should be between 62 and 70. When estrogen is low, PRL will be high, and it will also increase when you are nervous during the test. Generally, there is no need to test progesterone (P) on the day of menstruation. You can test it on the 22nd day of menstruation, which is both cost-effective and meaningful. These are mainly based on individual circumstances.

After knowing the time for the six hormone tests, you can do the six hormone tests according to this time. In fact, many women now have much more stress than men, so it is normal to have endocrine disorders. Therefore, you only need to make targeted adjustments to your endocrine system to avoid another pregnancy and miscarriage.
