What to do if your feet hurt

What to do if your feet hurt

We will be troubled by diseases from time to time in our lives. We have no way to resist them because they always come and go without a trace. All we can do is to exercise our bodies to prevent their nuisance. Therefore, more and more people are pursuing health preservation. But it doesn't mean that if you maintain good health, diseases will not come to you. Because you don’t know why and when you will get some minor illnesses, such as foot pain.

To be honest, foot pain is one of the minor problems that often occur in our lives, but these minor problems often still affect our normal life. If we do not pay attention to them in time, they may develop into major problems. So what should we do if we have foot pain?

First of all, you should be alert to the pain caused by gout in the feet. What causes foot pain? Gout in the feet is common in people aged 30 to 50 years old. The early clinical manifestations are often recurrent acute arthritis. The typical manifestations of acute gouty arthritis are very severe. Most of them have an acute onset, and many patients are suddenly awakened by foot pain in the middle of the night. The joints are red, swollen, hot and painful, and cannot be touched; the pain reaches its peak within 48 to 72 hours. The attacks are severe and feel "knife-like", "biting-like" or "burning-like". Most patients find it unbearable, and some patients have no choice but to "hold their feet and cry bitterly". What causes foot pain? Each acute attack lasts about 1 week and then resolves naturally.

For foot pain caused by gout, the following methods are usually used to relieve and control pain:

1. Move your joints frequently. Move your fingers and toes, knees and elbows more often and do stretching exercises. This will drive away the deposits of uric acid crystals in the joints.

2. You can grind 5 grams of cinnamon into powder and take it with 20 grams of honey. Massage the joints and usually relieve pain in 30 minutes.

3. If the pain is really unbearable, you must use non-steroidal analgesics, such as diclofenac sodium. It is not possible to use hormones and salicylic acid to relieve pain, otherwise it will aggravate the condition.

4. Because the swollen area is hot and painful, you can apply an ice pack to the skin to help relieve the pain.

5. Choose shoes with thick soles, firm soles, and soft insoles. It is best if the heel has a certain curvature to accommodate the heel.

The second is foot pain caused by heel spurs. Its prevention methods include outdoor activities, such as jogging, walking, cycling, playing table tennis, etc., to keep the joints and ligaments of the heel elastic and tough. Reduce compression. If you are going to participate in a long-distance hike, such as traveling or climbing, it is best to wear soft-soled, elastic rubber shoes or cloth shoes with thick insoles. Self-massage. Sit cross-legged and push the sole of the foot with your palm, from the heel to the toe bone, and the number of times is unlimited. Rolling method. Pedaling on a round stick and rolling back and forth can improve blood circulation in the sole of the foot and relax tense and tired plantar muscle tissue.

So when we encounter foot pain in life and work, first of all, we should not panic. The most important thing is to go to the hospital for timely examination. After determining the cause of the foot pain, we can prescribe the right medicine, which will help improve the condition. On the contrary, if we blindly take medicine before figuring out the cause of foot pain, the consequences will be unimaginable, and in severe cases it may even lead to paralysis.
