How to treat hand eczema

How to treat hand eczema

Speaking of eczema, many friends know that newborns are prone to eczema on their faces. In fact, in summer, because people sweat more easily, even adults can get eczema. The areas where adults develop eczema are generally not on the face, but on the chest, scrotum, and hands. The hands are the most prone to eczema. So, how to treat hand eczema?

The symptoms of hand eczema are the same as those of eczema in other parts of the body. They are divided into acute and chronic types. Eczema has relatively typical symptoms. The first is itching, and the second is that it is prone to recurring attacks. These two points are the most typical symptoms of eczema.

The incidence of eczema has been on the rise in recent years, which may be related to changes in climate and environment, the use of large amounts of chemical products in life, mental stress, accelerated pace of life, and changes in dietary structure. Eczema is a skin inflammation caused by a variety of internal and external factors. According to the different symptoms of eczema location, it can be divided into calf eczema, scrotal eczema, breast eczema, hand eczema, etc.

At the same time, experts point out that if you have eczema, you should try to find allergens, but it is often difficult. Avoid contact of irritating substances with the skin, do not wash the affected area with alkaline soap, do not wash the affected area with overly hot water, and do not apply cosmetics or any oils.

In addition, the room temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will aggravate the itching of eczema. Wear loose-fitting clothes, preferably made of pure cotton. For eczema that is not large in area, you can apply skin-relaxing ointment, but it should not be applied too thickly. There are many patients with eczema who need to go to the dermatology department for diagnosis and treatment. Never wash seborrheic eczema with soapy water. Just apply some vegetable oil regularly to gradually soften the scab, and then gently comb it off with a comb.

Traditional Chinese medicine suggests that for eczema: for general itching and papular types, it is recommended to use antipruritic and antibacterial methods as the main approach. Eczema patients should avoid drinking alcohol, coffee, spicy and fried foods, and should eat a light diet with more fruits and vegetables. Eat less hot fruits such as durian, mango, longan, lychee, etc. to avoid adding fuel to the fire of the disease. Patients can eat more heat-clearing and dampness-removing foods such as mung beans, winter melon, lotus seeds, and bitter melon.

It can be seen from this that when it comes to how to treat hand eczema, the important thing is not to eliminate the symptoms when the disease attacks, but how to completely prevent the recurrence of eczema. Only by preventing the recurrence of eczema can you no longer have to worry about eczema in the future. This requires patients to start conditioning from their daily lives.
